Miss Ruth’s Time Bomb

This is my favorite store in the area. I live in Shippensburg, so I don’t visit as often as I’d like, but I adore this place. I have been coming since it opened, and have found many treasures.
I make a point to shop at vintage stores wherever I travel, and I visit NYC frequently as my mother lives there. Vintage boutiques there charge several times the prices at Miss Ruth’s. Curated vintage isn’t cheap, nor should it have to be, but this store offers fair prices.
They have recently renovated, making the store a lot roomier, allowing space for more Men’s items and housewares. This store is a great place to visit if you’re looking for a unique dress for a formal occasion.
My favorite finds: a vintage 1960s Vanity Fair leopard print button up night shirt that I wear as a daytime piece ($ 18), an awesome 80s geometrically shaped leather belt ($ 6), deep burgundy velvet skirt out of their $ 2 bargain bin.

Great vintage stuff! I am always amazed at the eye that edits this store. If you get a chance to see the window display at night, do! awesome jewlery and funky bags. Carlisle needs more local stores like this!
