I certainly wish I knew them when I purchased my home. As a Realtor, these are the guys I know I can always depend on to tell it like it is. I do not like inspectors who will «cover up» problems to get my business. I don’t want my clients to purchase a home that has problems!
All Inspectors have limitations; it is the nature of their business. If you wish to hire engineers, electricians, plumbers, contractors, etc., on a one-​by-​one basis to know every inch of a house, you are free to do so.
I insist on my buyers to have home inspectors even on new construction and we have always found a problem or two; nothing in life is perfect. Inspections are to determine if the problems are those you can deal with.
National Property Inspections are the VERY BEST!!!

Home inspected in August. I bought a dual CO/​Explosive gas monitor late Dec. The second I turned it on explosive gas alarmed. PSEG found an undoped fitting which had been leaking forever and a valve to dryer that was leaking. Would pass in future.

Bought my first house this year. Did not know what I should be looking for during my home inspection but these guys were very thorough and they explained everything and kept it real about potential problems and things that were really on point that I shouldn’t be worried about. They are great, would definitely recommend!

horrible inspection, very brief they missed a lot of things. This was recommend by real estate agent and they wanted to make a sale without any problem. we brought the house
11⁄2014 and so far had to replace 1 central AC unit, leak in master bed room bath which was due to leaking shower pan that required redoing tile and new shower pan. oil burner that needs to be changed in future. Do your self a favor stay away from national property inceptions.

We had a great experience with NPI! They were punctual, thorough and presented us with a clear and concise, professional inspection on the home we were buying. On the home we were selling our buyers requested a termite inspection which they were able to do as well. Again, giving a thorough report with pictures so they we could quickly move forward with the sale of our house! I was so happy with NPI and highly recommend them!

Missed a lot of things. Inspection was way too brief and I’ve had to do multiple repairs since that I wouldn’t be liable for had these inspectors caught it initially.
