Worst service I’ve ever had at any fast food restaurant. I’ve been to this Popeyes 8 times now and my order has been wrong 6 of those 8 times. I take it back to the counter or drive back from my house and it takes them another 15 minutes to fix it and they offer nothing.
Food always takes super long and their staff is rude. They are often out of certain food, various paper products, and sauce.

Both times I have eaten at this Popeyes I have been informed that there will be at least a 20 minute wait for chicken as they don’t have any ready. Louisiana Fast is a misnomer, as there is nothing fast about this place.
You would think that an establishment that prides itself as quick would keep the main tenant of its menu on hand, or at least with a reasonable wait time. I understand if I’m trying to order some bizarre menu creation that needs an act of God to prepare, but two pieces of chicken from a fast food chicken place shouldn’t take 20 minutes. Staff have been generally unprofessional at this location as well, but honestly I don’t have high expectations for fast food so I don’t care, but it’s worth mentioning.
Otherwise, when I have gotten my food, it’s been delicious. If you don’t mind consistent waits for average food, then by all means come here. Otherwise there are establishments with much better service that will gladly feed you.

Horrible service in the drive thru plus they were out of multiple things that goes with the meals/​combos.

We went for a quick bite because I’ve never had it and Popeyes wasn’t here when I lived here. Walked in and we were greeted with friendly faces. Two combo meals were so cheap! It took minutes for our food to come out. Very impressed, especially after reading the other reviews.

For the quality of food, this place is very overpriced. Like the other reviewers on here, they forgot all of our sides so we decided to drive back. They were out of Mac & Cheese, but the manager told us it was nasty anyway (real professional behavior, there) and recommended the cajun rice, which was also pretty gross. He also said it was a crazy day and they had had TWO managers quit – what? And there was no offer of a refund or free drinks or anything, which we were kind of hoping for having driven all the way back from Makanda. Oh well. Will not return.

Employees (management as well) are rude. Anytime I’ve gone to Popeyes my experience was as terrible. They are always out of something and take forever to serve you! My visit before last was in the drive thru which I sat for about 30 minutes if not longer. I checked my food before leaving the drive thru to make sure I had all sides. When I got home I noticed they gave me two of the same side (red beans and rice). I called the restaurant about my missing side and asked why I had an extra of the other. They began to tell me they were out of the other side I ordered. It really would have been nice for them to tell me they were out when I ordered! My last visit was inside because I had 10% off my next meal due to my side situation from the visit before. They had constant customer complaints during my 45 minute wait. Seemed the manager was more interested in yelling at the cashier in front of customers for telling a student they still did student discount because that’s what he was told by another employee. As my order finally comes they tell me they are out of the side I picked (oh how I wasn’t surprised) so had to pick another side and they one I wanted they were out of also. Then she told me I only had two things to pick from. One of those things was already one of my sides so I guess I really only had one option. Needless to say… Terrible service and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. I’ll stick with KFC

I’m only giving one star because zero stars isn’t an option. Waited 35 mins for our order (we were told after 15 mins it would be 5 more for the pies we ordered). The chicken was boxed and sitting out most of that time. After we finally received our food we checked in the car, fortunately, because they didn’t give us any of our sides. I took it all back and got my money back. The garbage was also piled in the entrance that had to be stepped over to get in with liquid spilled all over the floor. Everyone else in there was having the same problems as us too.
