Small coffee shop located in the busiest part of captiva. I decided to go here instead of Starbucks because I figured that the coffee would be better. It was ok nothing special. My Americano was drinkable and did the trick. If you are looking for a quick cup of coffee before heading to the beach this is a good place to go.

Long story, this is truly one of the best places I have EVER had coffee. The people that work there are very pleasant and I would’ve paid double for Frozen Caramel Latte. The Ice cream is delicious and tasted real. I went back immediately after finishing my first coffee because it was just that good. 5 stars for coffee alone. Anything else is a bonus.

The key lime ice cream is delicious and a must try! The quality of this homemade ice cream makes this shop worth visiting! As other Unilocalers have eluded too, the building itself is small, simple and a tad dinghy. However, this does not matter with the beach nearby! The prices are higher but in line with the cost of island food. Overall definitely worth it.

Decent ice cream. Pricey. Blah chain coffee. They will also overcharge you, which is typical for the Russian blood running through the veins of the owners of this and few other(Sasha’s café, Key lime Bistro, R.C. Otter) places sitting close by. A bit rude and abrasive but if you have been to Russia this should feel familiar to you. Skip it, go a bit further and get your caffix at a Starbucks, newly opened.

This is the best ice cream I’ve had in a long time! The black raspberry chip is probably my favorite followed by the key lime pie. The only thing I wish I that the key lime pie ice cream was a little bit more tart but other than that this ice cream is amazing!

I love their key lime pie ice cream 5 stars for that but the service is always lacking. You always feel like you’re inconveniencing them by being in there. The place also looks like it needs a good scrubbing.

The icecream is home made, for that reason it seems reasonable that there are only 6 flavors. Yes you can get Eddy’s at any store… but compare the ingredients and labor cost breakdown and the price is reasonable. As an example could alo compare Starbucks coffe at their coffe shops vs the pound of cofee of the same brand you can get at Publix

This review is just for the homemade ice cream. There were only 6 flavors to chose from and they were not anything special at all. I got coconut and my friend got chocolate. That should tell you a lot right there. The ice cream was not anything special and for two cones it was over eight dollars. My friend compared it to Edy’s.(Which you can buy almost a half gallon for around five dollars and they have many more flavors.) I don’t know when just wanting a simple one scoop of ice cream became so ridiculously expensive. I also did not like the way the clerk stood over us impatiently. I guess she figured with only 6 choices we should have selected faster. I was close to walking out…(you know how you get that feeling?) and that is what we should have done. Next time we will go to a restaurant and sit down and split a real delicious homemade dessert. I have to admit the one scoop was quite large and the cone fresh… but it just wasn’t worth it.
