Came to Amazon juices due to my love for café Brazil. The location is far from downtown Santa Cruz, but being in Capitola it is only a few minutes from the mall and beautiful beaches. The location is in a great place to spend your Sunday morning. This spot is much less crowded then the infamous Café Brazil. Although, parking was a little tricky since there are only a few spots in front of the restaurant and many cars passing through 41st. I recommend parking on 41st if the restaurant parking is filled. Once inside the ambiance is very relaxed. Low level music makes it a great place to conversate. Service is quick and there are practically no lines, so you can go in and out. The food is also conveniently packed ib biodegradable to go containers so even easier to take out. I ordered a passionfruit acai jr. bowl and my partner ordered a Portabello bowl it came out to about $ 17. I was pleasantly surpised when my food came out in about 5 minutes! My passionfruit bowl was delicous. The base was tangy and the right frozen conistency. The toppings included bananas, strawberries and gronola. The bowl was really filling even though it was just a jr. Size. The description said there would be coconut shavings, and although my bowl did not have any I still found it perfect. I am however, giving a lower rating due to my partners bowl. The plate came with three peices of muchroom. Portions were really small for the price. Other then the small portabello peices there was rice, and a lackluster salad with a plain peice of motzarella, and ranch. The rice was extrmely dry and flavorless. Same for the salad. Together it was a measley, unfufilling salad. The plate was suppose to come with carmalized onions and bell peppers but did not. My partner and I just ended up sharing my acai bowl. Really do not recommend the plates, but really recommend the acai bowls.

By the time I write this I write this I’ve already skimped a couple pieces of tri-tip. Gotta say this place is a gem. The food, whole, tasty, and good value. Quick as hell. Been there twice, the most genuine service you can ask for, very up lifting, not unlike café Brazil. And there menu is diverse, breakfast burritos, acai bowls, salads, various entrée plates. Do yourself a favor and check it out, from the outside its not very loud quite yet.

Ordered a tri-tip bowl with 2 eggs, expecting a fair amount of meat and eggs. Instead I got a full bowl of rice, a couple pieces of meat and 1 egg… and it tasted mediocre. Come on dude, not that hard to mess up a simple order… Customer serviced sucked, cashier was rude, and they didn’t seem to give a crap about what you wanted, they just want your money. This place has to be under new ownership/management, as the owners of Café Brasil would NEVER stand for this. NEVER coming back. Period.

So I’ve been here twice now. The first time I had the acai bowl and the second time I had a smoothie. I wanted to like this place because I love to support local businesses and I am a huge fan of healthy food but unfortunately this place is a JOKE. Their smoothies 16oz are priced at 7.95… And they do NOT use organic ingredients. While some of their ingredients might be organic charging close to $ 8 dollars for a generic smoothie is ridiculous. The acai bowl was in a tiny cup– we could barely mix the granola in and it spilled everywhere. I decided to try again and order a smoothie. The woman who took my order was so rude I couldn’t believe it. I was not aware of what a «caju fruit» was and instead of explaining it to me she decided to cop an attitude and ask me if I know what a cashew is… As if this explains a caju fruit. After this back and forth I said screw it ordered the smoothie, paid the outrageous eight dollars and vowed to never come here again. Your business will not last with customer service and prices like that. If your ingredients were good and worth the money I would have no problem paying. But using Kirkland Apple juice and a few pieces of fruit in your smoothie and charging 8 bucks with a cashier who is a brat is offensive. Will not be returning.

This place is good as far as food goes but the customer service is horrible. I called in an order at 3:43 pm, to place a togo order when i asked to order the woman on the phone said, «we close at 5». It wasn’t even close to 5pm so I don’t know why she would even say that in the first place. I come here all the time, I usually get an acai bowl with extra banana and guarana syrup. I went today, they did not add extra banana(the half of the banana that they did put in was in a chunk not cut), some of the strawberries were too ripe, and they didn’t put enough granola, so my entire acai bowl was soggy by the time I got home which is less than 2 miles away. Also from future experience, when you ask for extra banana they just cut the pieces up into smaller pieces to make it look like there is more, when really it isn’t. Considering how expensive their food is, little requests like adding things shouldn’t be an ongoing issue but it is. Stop skimping your customers!

Was really disappointed when I went here. I got an Acai bowl and a breakfast burrito and both really weren’t too great. I went here because I heard that the owners also own café Brazil(which I love), and it really wasn’t anything like it. I wish it was just another café Brazil.

Acai bowls are a bit icy and would love if the jr acai could come in a small bowl instead of a cup it’s hard to stir and granola overflows other than that love it!

I heard Amazon Juices is owned by the same owners as Café Brazil and wanted to get an acai bowl there since Café Brazil was already closed. It was hard to find street parking because there were only a few spots in the front. The place is pretty small and has a small seating area. It looks like a place where you’d go to order a quick meal to take to go. I got their Jr. Acai bowl and it wasn’t that great. The acai was really icy and didn’t taste like acai. When it melted it started to taste like water. It wasn’t as good as the one from Café Brazil which was a huge disappointment. On another note, I do want to come back and try their food because it smelled amazing when we walked in.

Love the food but bummed on business practices & customer service of this place, parking is very limited but found a spot this morning, ordered. Apparently the credit card machine went down during my transaction so cash only. I asked if they would accept a local check given the circumstances & they said no. Hungry & not happy!

Services was great, place was clean, wait wasn’t to long, but the pitaya bowl was extremely watery and didn’t have any flavor.

Really not into it. My boyfriend got a super overpriced juice that was like 60% foam. I got a pitaya bowl that tasted like pure water. The prices are really high given what they put out. I was excited about their menu options, but I don’t think i will return.

Sara is a great employee. She is very patient and helps answer any questions. I really like walking to this shop, they really fill you up and it gives you good energy.

This is based on their hours. I love the convenience of the location relative to my house, and would frequent them much more if I could. I find it a little ridiculous for a juice bar to open at 9am. I’m not retired, I don’t have an alternative schedule, I don’t stay at home with the kids, my partner doesn’t make enough for me to not work. Meaning, when I’m driving to my Monday-Friday desk job, these guys aren’t open yet. So, I drive past them, and go to New Leaf. I would LOVE to take my business here instead. I hear another juice bar is opening on the Point, so I’m hoping the owners read this so they can compete. On the weekends, their salads are great(the salmon salad is a crazy good deal), and my boyfriend loves their breakfast burritos. Their prices are reasonable. Of course, being affiliated with Café Brasil, their acai bowl is fantastic. But instead of being able to spend my money with them multiple times a week for a morning juice or smoothie, I rarely am able to give them any business.

I give my experience 3.5÷5 stars. the Tri Tip Spring Salad I ordered was a very good portion but nothing was particularly amazing about it. The tri tip itself was a huge portion but the pieces were not cut up enough(they only had plastic knives so I think it would have been nice if they cut it up more). The salad had a nice variety of veggies: beets, cucumbers, carrots, cherry tomatoes, sprouts, hearts of palm & lettuce. I could have done with out the single mushy slice of mozzarella. The two employees I interacted with were both very friendly & helpful. When I asked how many ounces of protein was in certain dishes they didn’t know the numeric measurement but seemed happy to show me the amount before I ordered. I also asked them if they had a vinaigrette dressing which the woman working the counter responded that it was an herb vinaigrette though after eating it I believe it was more of a creamy balsamic. While checking out they stated their internet wasn’t very good in the area & they needed to reboot it to try to run my cc again, which was fine I wasn’t in a hurry but hopefully they can get that fixed before a busy day when customers don’t have time to spare. I look forward to trying Amazon Juices again for some of their unique beverages! Cheers

The granola is good, but besides that there is nothing special. Only one flavor to choose from, and just not the best. Samba Rock in Santa Cruz is much better!

Got the steak plate and kale juice to share for lunch. Good amount of food for the price. Steak plate was really good. Meat was tender and flavorful. Loved the salad that came on the plate — fresh ingredients. The kale juice /smoothie was good but could have been better. Didn’t stay mixed all that well but it was still decent — I would order again. I’d definite return when looking for a healthy lunch.

Been here for the Acai bowls, which although Samba Rock has more variety, they are so puny compared to Amazon Juices. Also, have had the ginger watermelon juice, which is yummy. The salad with salmon was generous and delish. And my dining partner was pleased with her ham and cheese grilled sandwich. I just wish they were open for take-out dinner!
