Love Jerry’s steak subs with provolone. Always good, always takes forever but so worth the wait. This one is in a questionable location only because it is next to a porn shop, which I don’t really want to think about when I think of food preparation, but it was 5 minutes from my house. We also hit the one in Largo pretty often, but that was more of a drive.

Ok, this going to be quick It has more than enough parking The staff has always been very nice to me And my food is always great but, In the past couple of weeks they have lost their deep fryer. No they don’t have the world best French fries but, I like fries and damn it I can’t get any. Also their pizza… this is to all the Jerry’s…get some better sausage and pepperoni. Come on the pepperoni is dull and the sausage is nasty. I would rather lick my arm all day than eat that sausage. Other than those to problems, it’s still just a Jerry’s…

Okay must wait for wife and her friends to come to this side of town for U2 concert at FedEx field they are stuck in traffic for hours. My office is 5 mins away from FedEx field and about 30 secs away from this Jerry’s location. It has been a while since I’ve been in here cause this place was just sub-par compare with the quality levels of other locations. I compare them all to the one located in White Flint circa 1992 I knew the guys who had owned that one and they ran a tight ship over there and always was top notch in quality of food and over the top service. I know cause I ate there just about every other day while working at Lord & Taylor back then. BTW, they now own the Cheeburger Cheeburger place over in Shady Groove. But I once again have gotten way off point well sort of. Enter working over here for 10 years in Capitol Heights and this location of Jerry’s. Different very very different, they started out okay but they had a couple of key people who moved on to bigger and better deals and that’s when everything went to pot in a major way. They hired bad people, got very sloppy in maintenance and upkeep of the restaurant. The place just became dirty and very unpleasant even to get the food to go. So my reason for not going there for the past 2 years. However out of necessity I wound up here again and not wanting to venture too far to get some halfway decent food cause I don’t feel like spending $ 10 for a Ballpark hot dog at FedEx Field. Much to my surprise this Jerry’s has improved while far from the efficiency of my previous favorite location, however it is a big improvement from 2 years ago. No heated arguments and almost fist fighting in the kitchen area, no rap music over the sound system speakers, no bad nasty«I’m gonna jack you up» attitude persons at the order placement station, and the place was quite clean almost spotless. Soda machines worked and the ketchup dispenser didn’t splatter ketchup all over me. They had plenty of napkins, straws etc. previously they always ran out of everything. They still could use some improvements here and there but I can make due. For once it felt good being in there and I like it now so I think it is safe to go back once again what a difference a couple of years make. I just hope that they keep it up and not let it fall back into hell.
