Just recently; I was visiting my family down the shore from Jacksonville Beach, FL. One morning my sisters and I decided to treat ourselves to breakfast before returning to Philadelphia. By a stroke of luck we stumbled upon Clary’s. From the moment we walked in, we were made to feel like home. The food was fabulous, never ending coffee and the service was above average. The wait staff was attentive and gracious with above average knowledge of their menu. Noah at the counter was friendly who went out of his way to help the elderly clientele out to their cars without having to be asked.

One of my favorite places for breakfast at the shore. Usually get something with the sausage gravy — especially the steak-fried chicken when they have it. Omelets good too & love the tater tots. Can get crowded after 8 am at times — sometimes wait is too long and need to go to plan B.

Typical diner food, but the execution is a little below the mark. Ordered a BLT — mealy tomatoes, bag lettuce on its way out. French fries were decent.

Terrific little breakfast and, or lunch diner! Serving breakfast all day, as well as lunch! Counter and tables, accessible too! Many breakfast choices, and a good size lunch menu! Seafood choices rarely seen on a daytime menu, crab omelets for example! We’re going to go back soon!

Amazing breakfast. Loved my «who hash» omelette with tater tots — cheese and corned beef hash omelette. Delish! Hot and well prepared. Excellent service. I want to eat my way through their entire menu — I had a hard time choosing what to order, everything looked great.

Love the $ 2.22 breakfast special but usually pay the $ 3.99 because it takes me awhile to get up and moving in the AM. Staff is super sweet and accomodating. They love their regulars. The staff works together well, They refill each others drinks which is awesome on a busy weekend morning. My cup has NEVER been empty until I leave. Pancakes are the best in the area. Light and fluffy. Eggs cook perfectly and as ordered. Nice variety of toasts. Daily specials are interesting and well priced. The Big Daddy Breakfast is impossible to finish(2 of everything) but great if you want to sample. It’s a Pepsi restaurant. Love only fountain Pepsi which is hard to find. Try the pancakes, turkey club, and french toast, my favorites! Small place, tables are close together and there’s often a wait but it adds to the charm. Go solo and sit at the counter and everyone chats and shares newspapers. It’s cute.

The food here was excellent and cooked perfectly. A classic breakfast place. I got the eggs Benedict and they were made really well. The tater tots were fun and delicious! Will definitely be going back!

Food is delicious. But not good place for more than 4 people. Place is small. Very family friendly. Everyone is family. Good place for a couple to escape and east without the rest of your family. Hahaha

YUM. 4 adults, 2 kids, all ate wonderfully for $ 50. We all got stuffed and even took food to go. Craziness. A HUGE plate of country fried chicken, gravy, eggs, meat for $ 6.50?! Holy crap, my eyes were big as saucers when hubby got his plate. Huge waffles, breakfast sandwiches. And all good, home cooked food. If this place were near my home, I’d be as big as a house. Service was very nice and friendly.

A go to Sunday breakfast stop when in CMCH. Don’t be surprised if you wait 25 minutes for a table, and go early because they close at 2:00. The kitchen and wait staff are great at turning out food. We’ve had both lunch and breakfast, both were worth the great price. Everything from breakfast plates to the club sandwiches were excellent. I love that they offer either home fries or tots. Two people can fill up for under $ 20

Consistently consistent! Clary’s reminds me of Cheers, and I can’t help smiling just walking in there. A favorite with us locals, we try to avoid Clary’s after 9AM or on weekends — because they are PACKED. Year-round. Terrific breakfast menu, all the standards plus creative daily specials. Plenty of free parking but not much waiting room inside… so…if it’s raining we either get wet or go home. Place is owned/operated by a darling, young married couple and I’m so happy for their success. Two last words… HOMEFRIES!

Yum… fantastic food! Definitely lived up to their claim for having the best pancakes. We had banana and chocolate.

This is an amazing breakfast in an unpretentious setting. The blueberry pancakes were delicious! Fresh, large blueberries in fluffy pancakes. Had a side of regular sausage which was butterflied to make it extra crispy. Husband had the country fried steak and loved it! He said the sausage gravy was amazing!

What a find! Great food and a huge selection. Sausage gravy was delicious as where the omelets. Their Copper Sharp cheese is a must in the omelet — as suggested by the waitress.

Some of the best pancakes you will ever encounter. You can never go wrong with anything on their menu. Truly spectacular.

Stone Harbor is great but right now it is desperately lacking a breakfast joint(outside of Uncle Bill’s) since Polly’s was bought out by The Reed’s. We took the 13 minute ride out to Clary’s Country Corner and it was worth it. This is a cozy little breakfast spot and reminded me of something out of a John Grisham novel. For a Wednesday morning, post Labor Day, this place was still buzzing. For whatever the reason, the a/c was cranked but other than that all was exceptionally fine. Our party had the Nana’s pancakes, blueberry pancakes, the country fried steak & eggs as well as side orders of scrapple and bacon. The highlight here was the pancakes, both blueberry and chocolate chip & banana were fantastic. Both were stuffed with bountiful amounts of their namesake ingredients. The bacon was ordinary and the country fried steak may have been slightly over-seasoned with sage. The eggs were also a hit with the party. All of the servers were pleasant and the boss was enjoying some dessert at the counter. We spent close to $ 60 even though the country fried steaks and eggs were the special of the day(discounted by .50). A little bit more than what you would expect to pay for breakfast but this place is worth a try. Note: our table had pepper in a salt shaker, so it came out extremely fast.

My favorite breakfast place down the shore. The place is always packed and for good reason. The food is incredible. They not only have the typical breakfast food, like pancakes, waffles, eggs, etc., but they do it very well. Clarys also has specials and soups that are too good to pass up. Best thing you could order is the banana walnut pancakes. These things are out of this world good. I have no idea how they make them but I am determined to find out. My second time there, i ran into one of my college friends and his family who lived a few towns over in sea isle, but they apparently come there all the time as well. Very good hometown atmosphere and the staff is very friendly and they seem to know everybody that comes in. Can’t say enough good things about this place.
