The 3 stars is strictly for the food. The food is great! The service on the other hand… Well it appears they don’t have any of that. My order was placed. Salad came out, then was supposed to be garlic cheese bread. Never got that. Then my pizza comes out. «Did you need plates?» Yes please. I’m brought three plates, two of which had food stuck to them. Then I get the bread after the fact. Which I had to ask about. Staff seemed clueless. While I waited for my food, someone else was waiting for a to go order just waited and waited. Another person came in and ordered and was handed a pizza instantly. The woman asked and staff stared at her and said, «Um, it was given to someone else. We’ll make another, it should take 6 minutes.» And if that’s the case… Why does any other pizza take nearly 30 minutes!!! It will be quite some time before I return here.

Place is really dirty. Service was ok at best. Pizza is greasy. Beer was good but hard to mess that one up.

Wonderful pizza!!! Look forward to going to this place every time I go to Cape. I love the way they do the bacon. I can’t wait to have some more Imo’s!

IMHO, Imo’s pizza is the greatest human invention of all time(hence my «last meal on Earth» section in my profile). The provel cheese, thin crust, and sweet sauce come together perfectly. that same wonderful provel is also found on the salads. Imo’s does seem to be a love it or hate it kind of place. I imagine that if you hate Imo’s though, we will never be friends. Unfortunately I do not get to eat Imo’s very often as they exist only in Missouri. I have been looking into having some frozen and shipped!

Two thumbs up for the tasty St. Louis style pizza! For all you thin crust lovers out there, this is the place in Cape G and St. Louis for pizza! They have a nice St. Louis box special which allowed us to try a little bit of everything for $ 20.00. We received 8 raviolis, 4 cinnamon icing balls, and a good helping of cheese curds, and a two topping large pizza for $ 20.00. Sweeeeet, delicious deal! Good thing this place is open late because we will be back to satisfy our late night cravings after a night of fun in downtown Cape G!

Imo’s is the best pizza I have tried in Cape Girardeau. The crust was thin. The pizza was seasoned well. The chicken and broccoli toppings were terrific. The employee at the register was super friendly, funny and sincere. He offered suggestions when asked. The restaurant was clean and there were tables available for seating. They also offer subs, salads, pastas and more.

I love imo’s, I love st. louis style pizza, i love pizza and i know good pizza when it enters my mouth. This imo’s isn’t as good as the imo’s you’ll find up in st. louis or other st. louis style pizzerias in the STL area. Don’t get me wrong they have good food here but it can come at a price, a pizza is normaly 8 – 10 bucks for a medium pizza and i can normaly polish off a medium to a large myself so for a family too eat your looking at about $ 30 – 50 bucks. The pizza is always good though and is always good leftover or even cold. I prefer sausage and onion which is always good, Imo’s pizza has declined in value i think though, mabe it’s just me but it isn’t as good as it sue to be, but many restuarants are like that today.

I say I go back to visit St. Louis and Southern IL to see family and friends, but it’s really to eat the yummy food of my past. During my recent stay in Cape I was thrilled to see an Imo’s — I wasn’t aware that Imo’s could be found that far out of the STL metro area. We had a large mushroom and black olive pie delivered to our hotel room along with an order of that St. Louis delicacy, toasted ravioli! Imo’s pizza is «St. Louis style,» and features melty, gooey provel cheese and a perfectly crisp, thin crust. Pieces are cut into squares, and I swear they taste better that way. Toasted raviolis are puffy meat-stuffed pasta squares deep fried to pure bliss. This feast was delivered to our hotel within 30 minutes. I’m dying that it will probably be a year before I get Imo’s again. Wah!
