Chef’s Cafe

I took my kids here to eat a few weeks ago. We were sat immediately by the hostess. A young girl maybe 12 years old. This I did not mind. But my kids and I sat there for about 20 minutes and had not seen our waitress yet. Not even to get a drink order. I then saw a few more families come in, get seated, and get drinks and place their order. So when the hostess walked by I informed her that we haven’t gotten our drink order yet. She looked very frustrated. About 5 minutes later she returns to ask if our waitress has come by. No. She then gets upset and storms off. The table beside me were leaving and he told me that he noticed that I was sitting there a while and even talked to the hostess about it. Still nothing was done. I waited another 5 – 10 minutes then decided to leave. As I walked about I over heard the hostess ask a young blonde girl if she got our drink order yet. Then hear her say «oh great! They are walking out the door» I throw up a peace sign and kept on walkin’. Their service is horrible and I have heard people say that the food isn’t much better. Just from my experience, I will not ever return to chefs café. Also I will let people know that they have horrible waitresses. I’ve been living out here for 20+ years and have seen many restaurants come and go in this location. I would think that before you decide to give it another go. You would hire a great wait staff! Sometimes people don’t always go to places because they have the best food. Service is key. And this place is lacking! I give them one star only because I HAD to!
