Canyon Lake Optometry

Had a great experience with the doctor and staff here. It was quick to get an appointment and he solved my problem I was having with my eye quickly. I had been misdiagnosed before then. I would definitely come back.

The nicest people around. They take their time with you. You never feel rushed. Like I felt at a different Dr. s Office before. You always feel welcomed. Such a great team! I’ll bee going back when is time. Thank you very much everyone!

This is a small office, located in a shopping center. The décor inside is modest. They are definitely not the fanciest of places, which in my option is great. They are small enough that they still care about each patient, and give service accordingly. The front staff is very friendly, and helpful. The doctor is also very friendly. He listens and he doesn’t have bad breath. I know that’s a bit random, but an eye doctor is in your face, you want them to have good breath. My last doctor was an obvious coffee drinker (gross). The people that fit you for glasses/​contacts are helpful too. Because of their attention to detail in speaking with patients, I have had to wait for someone to be available for about 20 minutes before.
I think this is the ultimate review I can give though… I went there, and saw the doctor. I was so impressed and at ease with their practice that I made an appointment for my 3 year old daughter. I trusted this doctor with my kid. And he was very sweet to her.
As far as the other reviewer saying about the prices I can’t really speak to that, because we went through our insurance.

I’ve gone to this optometry place twice. Once when I first moved to Canyon Lake and once again last year. The first time, they were good but the last time, they had changed.
The staff is friendly but their prices are through the roof.
Last year, I got my exam and when I went to look at frames, the prices were real high.
They had a set of Oakley Metal frames and the total price quoted to me was $ 500.
I told them that I wanted to see if I could get the frames for less.
I got a set of frames from eBay for less than half of what they wanted and when I went back to get the lens’ put in them, they told me that it was going to cost $ 700.
The price went up $ 200 in less than a week.
When I inquired about the price increase, they said that is what they always cost.
That was the last time I’m setting foot in that place.
Good service is one thing but the expense left a real bad taste in my mouth.

I must say from the Doctor to the staff here they all were great to my son. Great experience and a wonderful time. I would recommend this place to every one! They are fast and super nice what more do you want from an eye Doctor.
