S & S Donut and Bake Shop and Deli

I blame myself. After living in the community for many year and never trying S & S donuts I finally did several months ago. My simple order was a bagel toasted with butter and jelly. Being from New York this was fairly common of an order. Well, I got the attitude from the lady that took my order as if I were dating her daughter. Apparently it is a special order to add things to your plain bagel. I insisted they added the butter and jelly and was dealt with a big delay in getting my order. Apparently customizing your bagel also is an additional cost. Now over the months I forgot my experience and made the mistake of going to this place again. So blame me for having a bad memory. So this will be my last time again.

Came about 2pm on a Saturday and wanted a couple donut holes. They were out so my wife got a choc. glazed buttermilk to share. Unfortunately, I did not like it. It was not very fresh or very flavorful. I’ll stick to Foster’s when I want a donut fix.

They always have cakes ready for purchase. And the cakes are decently decorated. However, the cakes are a little sweet. Especially the strawberry. Filling tastes a lot like strawberry jam. But the mocha and chocolate is great.

Best Glaze butter Milk Donut! These donuts are probably the best in the whole SCV, their lite and not greasy. Good find.

I get the apple fritters. I won’t get them anywhere else. Best donuts for extremely cheap.

Horrible, unfriendly, sad, dirty. Just trying to copy Starbucks. Female made no eye contact with us, seemed like she hated her life and treated customers like it.
P. S. Try spending some money on real condiments.

My wife suggested to stop and get a do-​nut treat Wow flavor was great not mussy dough and cherry filling donuts are to die for! all there pastries looked fresh and Delicious!

I’ve been here a couple times just to get a dozen donuts to bring home, and both times I’ve been pretty underwhelmed. It appears I’m in the minority since the rest of the reviews are so great, but the donuts I brought home were very stale and below average. I haven’t had any of their other food or drinks, so I can’t speak to those, but I feel like they might have branched out too much into other dishes and strayed away from making sure their donuts were on point.

Amazing doughnuts here!!! Much more appreciated now since DUNKIN donuts opened. The glaze doughnuts put dunkin’s to shame.

This place has the best ham and cheese croissants! The best! Always fresh and warm. The donuts are also very good. However, if your in the mood for a bagel beware! They are not good. The creamcheese is honestly a joke. It’s watered down wiped creamcheese with absolutely no flavor.

Not a huge selection, but they definitely have all the basic donut varieties.
I’ll definitely be back here next time I’m in the area and craving donuts.

Tasty donuts in a clean environment.

I asked for a dozen donuts and told the counter attendant that she could pick. When I got to my aunts house she opened the box and said ’ you picked all my favourites’ to which I said I chose them all. My 7 year old cousin then ate 4 of them and we told everyone he only had one but no one believed me because he spent the next 2 hours running around like a lunatic. I think the coconut was his favourite.

Yummy donuts! They are soft and sweet (not too sweet though, just right). We have tried the scones and cream horns as well. All were yummy. Great selection of different kind of pastries. I’m drooling just thinking about them… People that work there are nice too!

My daughter and I were craving donuts at 4 in the afternoon. This was our first time here even though we have lived here for about 1 ½ years. We walk in and everything was pretty much gone as expected. However, we were able to find something to satisfy our craving.
The owner greets us and bags up our donuts. We head over to the register and I pull out my debit card not thinking they may not accept it. He then asks if I have cash and I say no. So he then tells me that it’s okay and I can pay another time. I told him I can come back and he says no worries. Any time. No one has ever done that for us even though it was just for two donuts. It was awesome! My daughter thought we were so lucky! She couldn’t believe it.
We are definitely coming back with cash in hand and our donuts were delicious! We appreciate the generosity of the owner and how kind he was to do that for his customers. Thank you! And we will be back to pay for those donuts!

Normally when you think of donut shops you think of the just that… donuts. But this place has so much more and all of it really… really good.
I’m not much of a cake eater, never really liked it for some reason however the cakes at S&S are really the only ones that I enjoy. The soft cake is flavorful and the cream filling… yummy…like a little slice of cake heaven here.
The folks that work here are very friendly and we always like to stop for a blueberry scone and coffee when out on a Saturday.
Try it, you won’t be disappointed.

Selection of cakes, pastries & cannolis to tempt your sweet tooth even more, as if the donuts aren’t enough. Great location across TJMaxx & neighboring UPS store.

Best donuts in the area, hands down. I’ve tried a lot of places but this place is the best.

I’m a Dunkin Donuts guy but there are only three of those west of the Mississippi, so what a surprise to find this place. Coffee is only so-​so but the Boston Crème was excellent.

Hands down the best donut shop in the world. Fresh baked goodies daily. Love this place.
