This place is really a gem. The owner is kind of an old, cranky guy, but he knows his stuff!!! I brought a large post I wired for electricity in looking for a big lampshade. He shook his head in dismay at my shenanigans. Then he walked around the store and picked up a single lampshade. It immediately elevated my DIY project to something that looked really good. This guy knows his stuff. I also saw a lot of lamps clearly being rewired or otherwise repaired. There is a kind of craftsmanship here that you are not going to find in any other place. If you are looking for an ego massage or someone to point you toward a row of cookie cutter lamps, don’t come here. If you’re looking for real craftsmanship and expertise, you’ve found it.
