We were visiting my in-​laws in Granville Summit. Got a flat on the turnpike on the way up and needed to replace the spare with new tire – did not want to drive home without a spare.
We stopped at three different places in WilkesBarre on the way to the mountains but no one would help us even though we were in need of a quick replacement and change.
Rather than waste more time on the way up, we decided to get the tire locally in the LeRoy area.
My father in-​law suggested Sunfish Tire and Auto because they had previously helped him replace a tractor tire.
We stopped in and asked the mechanic if he could help with tire and he found a used one that was in better shape than the current tire on the car. In the time it took us to go to Julie’s Diner for breakfast and return, he had the tire mounted and balanced despite having other customers.
The only thing better than the service was the price. He really helped us out and I was very grateful for his help and kindness.
We realized on the way home that the spare had been poorly balanced because the tire provided by Sunfish was much smoother and the car handled much better– even at speeds above 80mph.
Needless to say, we wish Sunfish was a little closer to home, we would certainly recommend it to anyone in the LeRoy/​Canton/​Troy area.
