I don’t have much experience visiting a variety of fairgrounds, so I can’t say if these are typical, but I’ve been here many times for various events over the past 30 years. We visited the Stark County Fair on Labor Day and had no problems with parking whatsoever. There were plenty of trash receptacles and the restrooms were clean. I’m not sure what other aspects of the event could be a reflection of the venue.

The Stark Count Fair as well as many other Stark County Events are extremely poorly organized. Their volunteer staff is great in attitude but poorly uninformed if you have a question. We went to the fair tonight and asked for handicapped parking, we paid our $ 12.00 to get in and couldn’t find any parking, yet alone where the entrance gate was where they usually have the handicapped parking. We went directly back to the exit of the parking lot where you pay for your entrance ticket and asked for our money back we were told they remembered us from 5 minutes ago but were not authorized to give us our money. Maybe they can use our money to hire someone who knows how to organize an event? I guess it’s true if you want a well organized event you have to go out of Stark.

Came here for the Rib Burnoff. Typical fairgrounds, nothing fancy. the Rib Burnoff was good, ate some good BBQ.

As far as fairgrounds go this one leaves a little to be desired but it gets the job done. Parking during the fair can be a problem, getting into the parking lot from the street can literally take hours. Leave early!
