Sidelines Grille

Stopped in on a Sunday evening… note: very limited options on Sunday evening in Canton, GA. I read the so so reviews but decided to try it anyway. We were starving. We were seated immediately and were greeted by a server and server in training. No worries here… have to learn the ropes somehow. There was an decent crowd. Our drinks were great and served quickly. They have quite an extensive menu but We decided on Fried Pickles and Wings. Don’t judge us! Both were excellent. We will definitely go back!

Tried to like this place, really did, but the service is horrid, & the food worse, and it’s only going down hill. The last time we went is the last time we’ll go! The loud abusive cussing smokers next to the front door set the tone last time, the waiter’s service was awful, the food was cold, the order incorrect, & the ubiquitous 15% mandatory tip iced the cake. We were actually laughing as we left it was so ridiculous! There are many better places within a few miles, as we have found out.

Great place, great service and good food. My only problem with the place is that they don’t have all the channels for NBA games. Still, the best place to watch sports and l go there so the time.
My favorite dish is ceasar wrap and the fried shrimps.
Nice service, feels at home there.

I like the half price appetizers after 10. They do have drink specials. Foods average so is the service. When you go to a place me this don’t expect too much. It seriously is what it is, a sports bar. I have not been overly disappointed and will go back from time to time.

First time walking in and it was 10:45pm they decided to close @ 11:00pm during the weekend we did not even had the chance to have a beer when even they had the bar full. The hostess told us they were closing out. Very upset me and my husband walked out. Im will not recommend this bar i live around this area and definitely i will not give good suggestions. Not friendly at all.

This place is a disaster. I gave 2 stars because of the service (with 5 other people) and it was a poker night. Other than that, the shrimp po boy sandwich I ordered was horrible. The bread was stale before they tried to toast it, and its obvious the shrimp was not fresh. It comes frozen and they thaw it out similar to the the mini frozen shrimp kroger or publix sells. The food came out at 3 different times.
Anybody who rates this higher then 2 stars is either because of the service or free drinks they might get, but when it comes to eating food here; sit on the sidelines. Its tough for bars to do drinks and good food as it is. This place is no different especially with 3+ pages of menus

Food’s pretty good, but in the two times I’ve been here since they changed owners, I’ve had to go up to the bar to get a drink re-​fill, and it’s taken a LOT longer than necessary to take our orders.

We always enjoy the food and the numerous tv screens. Service has always been friendly.

I love going to Thursday karaōke night with friends. Super fun, I went to high school with like half the people there, which is weird, but they are always professional and get the job fun with lots of laughs and $ 11 all you can eat wings!

Will never come back.
Sidelines used to be great… about a year ago. My husband and I would visit every week. Now? I wouldn’t send my enemy there.
The service is HORRIBLE. Even when they aren’t full, you’re lucky if you can get a drink order in. You wait… and wait… and wait some more, and oh — here are your drinks. You order food. Same waiting game. IF your food is hot, that’s a plus. IF your order is right, that’s a plus. Be prepared to wait even longer for your check or to have ANYONE even come by your table.
A gentleman that was there before us was just about to leave without paying because he had attempted to flag down a staff member multiple times. He actually stood up, waving his credit card in his hand to get someone’s attention.
I e-​mailed a complaint on their website and had an automated, «oh we’re sorry for your experience. Someone will be contacting you shortly.»
That was several months ago. It’s clear Sidelines in Canton doesn’t care about their customers nor do they care about the quality or speed in which they send their food out to their customers.

Gross!!! Do not order the Taco salad. Bugs, in the restaurant… I didn’t want to rate it., no choice!!!

Food not bad for bar and grill atmosphere! Went there on a half price coupon which made it better. Noone in the place– servers were very pleasant!

Me & My Frat Bro just left this place a few mins ago! We liked it! We bought 20 wings, 4 Coke&Rums and split the tab… our total was $ 12.34! The wings were big, juicy and well seasoned… the drinks weren’t that strong but hey! for $ 2 Wednesdays… I won’t complain! lol!

I came here on a Thursday night to watch the football game and have a few brews. I had a lot of choices but decided on Sidelines because it was within walking distance from my hotel and there was a huge spotlight outside as if there was a hollywood première.
It wasn’t.
Sidelines is real dingy and it reeks of cigarette smoke. The drinks were a decent price but the place was practically empty. Maybe I came at the wrong night, but usually Thursday is a night where people like to go out.
I won’t come back here.

Sidelines is your typical neighborhood sports bar, installed in a strip mall of the Town Center local town. I used to come here every now and then to play trivia. Definitely a «dude» hang out, without question.
If you don’t pound beers and like your entrée fried, you should probably stay away. They don’t take kindly to momma’s boys.
Actually, you know Chatchki’s in the movie Office Space? This is pretty much it. They have fajita poppers and extreme nachos and all that kind of jazz.
They do have a lot of pool tables and dart boards, and I guess a fair number of TVs, but I’d rather hit up a place with more personality or better displays if I’m going to watch a game.
They have live bands here? That’s kind of frightening.

Another one of my favorite places to go in Kennesaw.
Sidelines has great bands and a lively crowd that comes out every night, composed primarily of students from Kennesaw State University.
The food that Sidelines offers is typical bar food; however, that is not what makes Sidelines so special.
Sidelines has enough big screen TVs, pool tables and dart boards to keep anyone entertained for many hours.
The lineup of bands that perform at Sidelines, while they may be the typical multi-​cover bands, put on a great performance on the weekends.
Sidelines also offers a great beer selection as well as many drinks and shot selections created by the bar tending staff and management.
So if you want to go watch a great game or just go have fun with a group of fans, get out of that hole in the wall bar or the couch, and go to sidelines.
