Samantha’s Downtown

This was my first time in Canton and I was looking for a little breakfast place and I’m so glad I found this one! The staff was so nice, and the food was delicious. I got eggs Benedict and the English muffin was crunchy and the eggs perfectly cooked. Two police officers even called out the chef to tell him he made the best omelet they’ve ever had! The chef was humble and very polite. Seems like there’s a lot of regulars in the place. I heard the waitress say they’ve been around for 12 years and have two other locations too so they must be doing something right! They had a pretty big breakfast menu and their lunch looked good too! They had about 4 soups posted on the wall so there’s no lack of choice.

Stopped in on a Friday for their fish special. Way overcooked. Waitress and cashier both asked how my lunch. When I told them they said oh we will tell the kitchen. Won’t be back

I had lunch at this Samantha’s for the first time today, surprisingly since its literally a 60 second walk from work.
I had the California omelette, sans bacon, with steamed veggies (hardcore wedding dieting here). The waitress was very accommodating about subbing anything for the toast and potatoes. The veggies included mushrooms, red and yellow peppers, zucchini, yellow squash and shallots and they were DELICIOUS.
The omelette was slightly under seasoned but still good. The avocado was not freshly sliced avocado, rather mascerated avocado of a guac consistency inside the omelette. The portions were HUGE.
I will definitely be back!

Small quaint little place. Had the chicken walnut sandwich special with onion rings. It was very good. The service was great! The ladies were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely go back again when I’m in town!

Great food, good prices nice people working there. Planning on going back for dinner.

Was staying around the corner at the McKinnley Grand for a wedding and decided to come to this spot for breakfast! The portions were HUGE! My husband and I shared a stack of pancakes and some eggs. The women who worked here were so friendly! If we ever find ourselves back in Canton we will be sure to stop by and have breakfast again! They are only open week days.

As a college student, I became more and more fascinated by diners and hole in the wall places. One of those great places was this establishment. Solid breakfast food at affordable prices. Waitresses are super nice.

Solid diner experience overall. However, their coffee is weak for my taste & their bacon is just a pile of gristly fat (not high quality in the least). For $ 2.19, you’d think that side order would be better.
I’d come back though!

Classic, traditional Diner cuisine. The Best breakfast food downtown Canton has to offer. Oh, and breakfast food for lunch! Great service also.

Banana pecan pancakes. That oughta be enough to get you to stop in at this quaint little diner for breakfast or lunch. But if you want more, you can try any of their daily specials including breakfasts, sandwiches and full lunch meals. Great, friendly service. Very inexpensive. You can sit at a booth, table, or at the counter and watch your food prepared as you wait.
