Napoli’s Italian Eatery

This place is amazing! The chicken parm is cooked to perfection. They have great wings that are huge and cooked just right. The place is a real gem.

I’m originally from Brooklyn NY and this pizza is as close as I can get to home. It’s really good and they actually have decent sausage for the topping too, which I was surprised because I don’t expect much out of Canton, OH. The really surprising thing was the cannoli. It wasn’t my baker’s but it was pretty good. Nothing is like the real Brooklyn, you can’t compare but this is as close to home as I could get. I recommend this place to everyone I know. I hope you guys stay busy and are here for as long as I am. Thank you.

I don’t know what happened in the last few years but your pizza quality used to be AWESOME. Whether it was cost cutting or a lack of caring I don’t know but I think next time I’ll save the gas money and just go to Gioninos

I went for pizza. I was treated to prompt service and a great pizza. It reminded me of the kind of pizza you would get in NYC. I loved the Frank Sinatra sound track playing over the speakers as I sat outside enjoying a beer. While I didn’t try any of the other food, I have no reason to believe it wouldn’t be just as good. Especially when strangers walking by regaled of the food there. That was a new one to me.

This pizza was really good. The crust was excellent. The service was great. We ate outside on a Thursday evening, 5:40. There were five of us. There was no wait. The server said they don’t start getting busy until 7. I’d definitely recommend.

If you want a real New York style pizza in Ohio, you cannot do any better than Napolis. There is nothing that even comes close. I cant even bring myself to try anything else because the pizza is just too good.

There are absolutely no complaints about the food and our server couldn’t have been nicer. Our only issue, and it seems to be a common one, was the wait time. Now, I don’t mind waiting for food a little longer than normal, because I am hoping that it means the food is being prepared fresh. And I believe that was the case, for the most part. But at 7:00 on a Saturday night and with the restaurant only about ¹⁄₃ full it did seem the wait was quite a bit longer than it should have been. I’m hoping that the restaurant wasn’t as slow as it was because others have had wait time issues.
Will I be back? Definitely! I’m just hoping the wait time is a little more reasonable next time.

What a shame! We were first time customers and the impression left with us made sure we won’t be returning. We stopped in tonight around 6:00. Wanted to try something new. When we were seated there were 2 waitresses, a party of 5 on the patio, and a party of two in the dining area. We ordered the Sicilian baked ziti (not impressive but, not bad) and a small Chicago style pizza. Our waitress had a great attitude, ran right over and put our order in.
About 10 minutes later another couple walked in and ordered a pizza. 15 minutes later their pizza arrived and we were still waiting. The other couple was paying their ticket and leaving by the time we finally received our meal. We waited 45 minutes! During that time we could hear the guys in the kitchen laughing, making odd bird sounds and animal noises. Not something I would generally care about but, clearly they had time to screw off and not take care to provide their customers with efficient service.
From my point-​of-​view, the issue did not lie with our waitress. She was very attentive and genuinely apologetic. She even took our bill to the owner for a discount. Apparently the owner thinks our time isn’t worth much because he gave us a measly $ 4 discount.
Just seems like a place that no longer cares about its customers and has given up. Pity.

We ate here for the first time tonight. We were lucky enough to get a parking spot right in front of the restaurant. It wasn’t very busy we are around 430ish. Our waitress was great, she was super friendly she was training another waitress so it was a little slow but we didn’t mind because she was very helpful about the menu.
The portions were huge one kids meal fed both of our children. We got pasta but we plan to go back and try the pizza the table across from us had pizza and it looked very good. We were too stuffed to have any room for dessert but we look forward to go back and trying the funnel cake fries.

I can understand we are a party of 8 but we did have a reservation. And we and one other family were the only customers. Food took 2 hours. Refills took longer than what I expect. Wrong food items were brought out. Waitress had the balls to say the wrong food items were what she was told and what she wrote down. After flipping through her ticket she saw that we were in fact right. A discount was applied so I guess we were happy with that. Food was good though.

Only two tables with customers and we are waiting for drink refills and it has been at least 45 min for our food. Came in at 830 and waiting!!! Food came three orders out of eight was wrong so they charged half price for the food that was not ordered ??? Wow what kind of customer service is that and a 18% gratuity was added to the bill. (For 8 people). Will never visit again!!!

Good service. Fair prices. It has a New York style feel and they deliver. A great place to eat in Downtown Canton. I recommend their pizza and their huge servings of antipasto salad. The menu offers a wide variety of items from salads and pizza, pasta and chicken, subs and appetizers, and even seafood. They sell beer also. Give it a try. You will enjoy it!

While I would agree with everyone’s reviews on Unilocal about the food being fantastic, I can’t get past how poor the service is. It is just not worth the hassle. After two unbelievably terrible experiences I decided to write a review, which I have never done.
My first experience at this restaurant it took 2 hours for our food to arrive. And we kept getting the «I’m sorry, you’re food will be out soon» excuse. However, they were very busy that night and the food came out hot and delicious. The waitress apologized but none of the dinner was comped for us.
Last night we decided to take another set of friends with us and try again. They were busy, but had cleared out by the time we had our salads. Then the wait. Two tables near us, who has a different waitress, were seated 20 – 30 minutes after us. They ate and left before we got our food. Our waitress dropped our food ticket on the floor, so we even wonder if she put our ticket into the chefs. Our friends pizza order was wrong. The waitress informed us that she got confused and gave our pizza to another table, so do we mind getting their pizza. My fiancé ordered shrimp Alfredo with penne pasta and he got chicken Alfredo with linguine pasta. And our pizza was cold.
The waitress had a poor attitude and acted like we were being bad customers. When we said over half the order is wrong she asked «how is half the order wrong?» Then said «ok» and walked away. When we initially got there she told us «I am so ready for this shift to be over». The manager came out with her with the bill and said «this is the best we can do for you» taking the incorrect food items off our bill. In my opinion that is the worst way to approach very upset customers who waited about two hours to get incorrect, cold food. That wasn’t a negotiation.
We will not be back to napolis. The delicious food is not with the hassle or the wait.

Think twice b4 you think about ordering from this place… remind you tht I been eating here since forever but 2nite showed bad business and bad ownership. Manager is very rude and unprofessional… ordered a family size stramboli and a 9 $ chef’s salad I specifically said no onions because allergic and with ranch dressing… I got all the way home which is 15 min away and called to tell them they messed up…1^st they asked what do I want them 2 do then put me on hold 4 times 2 tlk 2 owner/manager…they refused 2 give me a credit and refused 2 deliver… they insisted tht I met the delivery driver half way just 2 get my food tht I paid my hard working money for… they insisted that I should pick the onions out myself… not to mention the stramboli was burnt on bottom and they even gave me the wrong salad dressing… this place is very unprofessional and customers are never right… definitely will be contacting better business bureau

We stopped by this place on the way to our destination for dinner. I found it on Unilocal & read the reviews & was not disappointed.
One of my friends got lasagna, the other a cheese salad & a side of clams, & I got chicken parmesan which was awesome. The portion was good & pasta was a lot, it had a great taste & the marinara was perfect, too bad I didn’t get to take the leftovers since we were traveling. The service was also very good. I would definitely go back if I’m ever back in the area.

The ONLY place I have found for truly delicious pizza in Ohio.
I am from Connecticut and New York style pizza is my favorite. I really haven’t been able to find any good pizza in Ohio except for Napoli’s. The employees are always very nice and service is pretty quick if it isn’t the lunch rush hour. Very reasonably priced. I wish they were located in Akron, because I would be eating this pizza once a week if it was closer. Actually, maybe it is a good thing that I live a half hour away…

Pizzzaaaaa!!! This is the only pizza place I ever go to. It is hard for me to explain in words how good this pizza actually is. They’ve had the same staff for a long, long time so you can tell they are good employers too. Chicago style anything is my favorite.

My favorite pizza in NE Ohio! If you are a fan of New York style pizza then you have come to the right place. Crust, sauce, cheese all in a piece big enough to fold. It’s perfect!

Best italian pie in stark county. A little pricey but worth it. If you like thin crust with fresh ingredients.. Think no longer. go. get an xlarge cheese pie!
