Walked in, sat at the bar with my girlfriend who has been a server most of her life and is very gratuitous when it comes to service and how badly they do, she was very upset when we left and was the one who said to tip poorly. They were not that busy and we like to sit at the bar being that service is supposed to be much better, it was not… Took way to long to get asked for our order, after we had received our drinks we were never asked if we wanted more nor were our waters refilled. No one ever checked on us to see how we were doing the whole time. When we left, the bar was empty and yet we still were not receiving and service and had to ask for our tab. Food was ok for such a place, I had the ribs and my girlfriend had the steak salad. Her steak was cold, but still not an upsetting thing. The food came out in responsible time. We will not return.

My wife and I stopped into this location for dinner. We were able to get seated without a wait. The service was fast, polite and friendly. The location was clean other than the usual peanut shells on the floor. The sweet tea was good. The bread was tasty, hot, soft and moist inside. The wife ordered the porterhouse steak with shrimp. I ordered the smokehouse three meat selection with sliced beef brisket, brisket sausage and barbecued half chicken. All of the food was hot. All of it was cooked just right. And it was so filling that neither of us finished our meals; so, we have bonus lunches to enjoy for the next day. The only real issue is that the french fries which come with the smokehouse meal are too thin and unsubstantial. Other than that, we were both pleased with the meal.

Our server Lindsay was phenomenal. They were fairly busy, and the food was taking a long time, but she remained calm and kept us in the loop, which made us feel better and we really appreciated. However, a man, the general manager I assume, was walking around talking to the tables, when he stopped by, it was quickly apparent that he didnt really care. He was short of tempermant and of no real help. Waitstaff and food, good. Management, sub-par.

Average food, decent service but the price isn’t worth it. The order that was taken wasn’t the same as what he came back and repeated, so he fixed it and only charged for the incorrect steak(the actual was more expensive) and I was thankful for that. Definitely not going to be a repeat visit for me.

We went for the 2 meal for 15.99 promotion. Thought it was funny that a steak house did not have steak on this special menu(the 6 oz sirloin has a up charge). I picked the salmon it was small but was listed as a lunch proton so I was okay that The sauce that came with it was way to strong with dill. I understand it is a dill sauce but the was not edible. It is only a great value if is it good food.

I have read some of the negative reviews for this location and haven’t experienced any of that at all. From the attentive staff at the front desk to the wait staff I’ve experienced very good service. I was given a booth within a minute of approaching the front desk and my waitress was at my table within seconds of sitting down. The beer is always ice cold… On tap is the way to go. I’ve yet to have a meal here that wasn’t good — for the price their steaks are great. I love their garden salad and freshly baked rolls. So why not a 5 star review? When presented with the bill I discovered their«Quick Tip Guide for your Convenience» appears to be way off: the 15% suggested gratuity was actually 16.5%, 18% was actually 21.6% and the suggested 20% gratuity was over 24%! I checked this with my tip app and with my Android calculator. Eboni, my server, earned a 20% tip(I gave her more than that). I don’t blame her for Logan’s placing erroneous information about tips on their bills(could this be Logan’s way of making sure their wait staff gets their full percentage after taxes if you charge the tip? Maybe…). There was a side of free ribs($ 3.99) with my meal… Does that explain it? Nope… My app and calculator didn’t equal what was suggested. Besides this my experiences at this location have been positive and I look forward to my next visit.

Went on Saturday afternoon and they ran out of country fried steak!!! How does that happen? We were ignored because no one was assigned to our area. Why were we seated there then??? My husband had to order the country fried chicken instead of the country fried steak and it was soooo salty he couldn’t eat it!!! Beyond upset and disappointed !!! Haven’t been there in years and now I remember why!!! Done!

The service was excellent, it was Friday night and the wait was short but the food was so so. Prime rib was salty and chewed, the ribs were dry on the outside but it could have been worst. I would have to compare this to Texas Roadhouse which has better food but not bad if your e in that part of town.

Crowded Saturday night, long wait. No more peanuts while u more T-bone or Porterhouse on the menu. Food serve so, so let you check if they are cooked right to you liking. Bread is serve hot, butter or margarine is not good. Will I visit again maybe if the bring back the T-bone. The paging system was annoying, it can be heard inside the dining area, it should be rewired, not to annoy people already inside the dining area. Also the rice pilaf is too wet, tasteless, I can do better at home. What a waste of time and money, Pwe.

So first off, Friday night, we were asked to wait for 5 minutes and clearly there were at least 5 empty tables not being cleaned. So we ended up waiting for 15. Then we order two draft beer which took another 15 minutes. Restaurant ran out of prime rib, Caesar salad and grilled mushroom. Bacon in the queso which we asked specifically not to have bacon. Anyway the food was ok but paying 70 $ for a meal for two was not worth the money in that place.

I’ve had decent experiences in the past at Logans but tonight was the worst. The service started off ok but after placing our family of 4 order(2 kids meals, a chicken sandwich and prime rib) it took 40 minutes for our food to come. During that time our bread was never replenished but our waitress removed the bread basket at the 30 minute mark announcing she was making the table ready for our dinner. The food came, the kids meals(hamburger and a corn dog) were good my kids said. The chicken sandwich was supposed to come with a side of dressing, it didn’t. When we asked the server for the dressing, it still didn’t come so we had to wait 5 minutes til she came back to ask again. The prime rib came, it was a big piece of meat, it looked good but the first bite revealed it was almost room temperature, very dry and chewy. I don’t like to send food back so I didn’t. I ate less than half. I had seen the manager a few times during the wait for our food but I didn’t see him on the way out. I wanted to share this experience with him and tell him why we won’t be back but I just wanted to leave. You’ve been warned.

VERY good and the waiter Mike was 10 stars. What a difference a waiter makes. There were six of us with 3 Salmon orders. Cooked to perfection. Three steaks of which two were sirloin cooked to perfection. Salad was large and tasty and rolls were nice and warm. When we asked for real butter it was brought to table immediately. A good family place as saw lots of young children. Dinner for six with two extra sides was 92 plus tip. It was a pleasure and a delight to bless the waiter with a 30% tip.

This is a follow up review.(WHEREAREMYPRIORREVIEWS?) What has happened to this place? The food is barely acceptable anymore. I ordered chicken wings. They were barely cooked enough. A couple were dangerously close to under done. I ordered them with the regular buffalo sauce. I know they didn’t forget because there was a single spoonful of sauce on the paper but absolutely none on the wings themselves. I’m not saying there wasn’t enough. I’m saying I believe they intentionally didn’t put sauce on them. My wife had the filet and asparagus. From a prior review I may have mentioned that we made a recommendation as to how serve asparagus so there is no fibrous part which they did not change. But worse, they were so overly seasoned that they were inedible. Additionally, they were 3 times too over cooked. The drinks were okay. Not sure why they don’t garnish their drinks. It’s off putting to order a $ 9 cocktail and have no garnish. The bar service was slooooooowwwwww. Which was interesting because there were only 5 people sitting at the bar. But there were 4 servers standing at a server station holding a pow wow. Need less servers and more bartenders. The very bright spot in this evening was the server who was terrific and came back with an adjusted bill. Thank you for that. I had previously praised this location and used it as an example for how to improve their Auburn Hills location. Sad to see what has happened. I may never go back to Logans. It used to be on the list of our regular places to eat out. MORE: Got an email from them asking for me to go to a separate site and complete a cumbersome and rather lengthy form. It was not very mobile friendly and after having completed the steps and checked all the right boxes and typed my complaint which I said read my Unilocal review, I hit send and it wiped it out. Based on how the company seems to be performing, it seems clear that the root of the problem exists at the corporate level. Did it a second time and it went through.

I’m amazed at all the reviews for good food but poor service. We had the exact opposite experience. Our waiter was pretty good, but the food was well below average. Now, the salads and bread were very good, but my steak(Logan’s Steakhouse) was mediocre, my grilled shrimp was probably the worst I’ve ever had, and the rice was basically inedible. This was our second time here, and I will not come back without a gift card.

Previous visits were meh but last Friday we had a great date dinner with my wife. Friday night prime rib was really tasty, my wife had the cedar plank salmon which she loved. Normally not a chain restaurant person but we had a really enjoyable night out. Thanks to our waiter Michael for making it more fun.

It seems if you are seated in the middle section behind the hostess stand, you get the absolute worst service. It took almost 15 minutes before we were even greeted by the waiter, another 15 for him to bring us an iced tea and a lemonade. We ordered our food at the same time we ordered drinks since we had plenty of time to decide what we wanted before we even saw the waiter. About 10 minutes after our drinks arrived, he returned to inform me that they were out of the item I ordered(the buttermilk chicken, which is pictured in the menu). 10 minutes later, we finally received the bread that he had been saying he’d «be right back with» for 25 minutes. The food was pretty good when we finally got it. We sat around for quite a while with empty drinks. When we finished eating, he took the plates away and disappeared for 10 minutes before asking if we wanted dessert and giving us the check. All in all, it would’ve been a good experience had it not been for all the excessive waiting. It took nearly an hour and a half for 2 people to have a meal. Get your service straightened out!

I wasn’t sure what to expect given all the bad reviews. I had been to Logans in other cities and had good experiences. I ended up getting an take out order of their Nashville Trio appetizer platter. We had several options to choose from for the platter, but ended up getting chicken tenders, mozzarella sticks and potato skins. All were deep fried and delicious! The potato skins were a little thin, but were covered in a nice amount of cheese, bacon and scallions. I called ahead and had a brief wait. The person answering the phone was extremely nice and so were the host and the staff persont that brought me the food. They even tossed in a bag of dinner rolls. The place was beginning to get packed and there was a few people that had to wait. They offer a pager system, like a lot of other places. I briefly glanced at the menu(I just wanted appetizers), but they seemed to have burgers, steaks, chicken and seafood. Despite the bad reviews, I had great service and will come back again!

uhm… no. My wife got a gift card for x-mas to this place. I don’t think we would have checked out this place otherwise, and after this experience, understandably so. Note– this is based on a take out experience. The menu is pretty basic. A lot of your American comfort food options(meat loaf, chicken, steak, ribs, etc…). We thought about doing that 2 for $ 20 deal, but we weren’t necessarily feeling the options they had to offer. My wife ended up getting the steak salad while I got the chicken tenders with a caesar salad and sweet potato fries. When we called the order in, we were quoted 10 – 15 minutes. So here’s the rub. My wife went to go pick up the order, spotting them an extra 5 minutes just to ensure it would be ready by the time she got there. When my wife did get there, she told a host that she was there to pick up an order. Another server walked by and asked if she had been helped, again reiterating that she was there for a pickup order. 10 minutes later, a woman shows up and asks if she’d been helped. Yeah, evidently no one bothered to tell this woman(who happened to be in charge of take out orders only) that my wife was there for a pick up order. Another 10 minutes later, my wife finally gets her order. The food itself was… what it was. The chicken tenders were surprisingly light, and the fries were ok. My wife’s salad was good except for the steak. Kinda sad considering that’s what they are supposed to be known for(steak, not salads). The meat was bland and overcooked. So the pick up experience and food were bad enough, but then they forgot my salad, and sauce for my wife’s salad. Called the manager and told him about the whole thing. While he seemed intent on making up for the forgotten items, he completely missed the fact that my wife had to wait 20 minutes. He did say he’d comp. us free dessert or an appetizer on the next visit but I doubt there will be a follow up visit. OVERALL– yeah, not going back. Might take the manager up on his comp. offer, but past that, nada mas. Plenty of other options on Ford Road folks. CELEBRITYRATING– Bruce Jener

My networking group meets here every Tuesday. They do a really nice job of accomodating our group every week. The waitress that serves us is always friendly, prompt, and respectful of the fact that we have business to take care of. I generally order food every week in order to support Logan’s in light of their flexibility with us. The mesquite grilled chicken salad is really good and generally it is my go-to meal. Today, I opted for one of the sirloin steaks. I believe it was called the Logan’s Cut or something like that. The steak was cooked to my liking and seasoned well. The baked potato was good as was the caesar salad. To get a 10oz steak with a baked potato and caesar salad for $ 14.99, I was impressed. Obviously this isn’t a top-of-the-line steakhouse where you’re going to drop $ 150 on two people, but for the price… the quality is very good.
