Leno’s Family Restaurant & Catering Service

Everytime I visit this place it is a disappointment. Went there a few years back and swore I was never gonna go back again. I revisited twice since then to see if my mind could be changed and it is still a disappointment no matter what. Last time I was there didn’t get my Sweet Tea until the end of my meal. This time the tea was completely watered down. Not only that but the wait is ridiculous. We were told by our server that it would take 25 minutes for our food but it turned out to be 45 minutes. Our waitress barely checked in on our table and didn’t give us refills, bread etc. The Italian Hoagie tasted like a subway sandwich, and honestly I would have much rather went to Subway for a long wait, poor service and dissatisfying food because it wasn’t worth my money or time.

The wife says 4 stars, but since I’m writing the review it sticks at 3.
She got a veggie omelet, which came with home fries and toast.
I got what I think was Big Als breakfast, because she wanted the pancakes that were part of it, the rest was sausage eggs bacon and home fries which I requested be crisp.
The sausage was link style (I forgot to clarify as I’m not a fan of most links.)
The meat had been forced thru a 5 micron screen at a processing plant somewhere totally stripping it of having any semblance Of texture.
The omelet, and eggs were fine. Both the hash browns and home fries arrived as white as a ghost, which the wife loved, but crisp does not accompany a potato with a white exterior.
When I asked the waitress, «out of curiosity, if this is what the chef thinks crisp potatoes look like, what do they normally look like?»
Her response was «About the same.»
A few minutes later she stopped back and asked if I wanted the remaining half of my potatoes cooked more, but Preferring only my saliva mixed with my food I declined.
The pancakes totally lacked loft which dumbfounds, inasmuch as all that’s needed to fix it is buttermilk, or a teaspoon full of lemon juice to excite the leavener.
The toast was unique, rye toast thick-​cut like Texas tast, that I truly enjoyed.
Service was quite good
Dining room was fairly vacant despite it being Saturday AM. So that bears recollection if you live nearby.

Went here for late lunch with my mother. Service was terrible. We ordered scrod and it took forever. When we did get food, fish was dried out. Place is dirty too.
Won’t go back

Small local family joint. We love the pizza, aside from pizza and pasta they have dinner specials and sandwiches. It’s been a while since we had Lenos so we ordered from their tonight i think some of the prices have gone up total was almost 40.00 but portions are generous. They’ve also added some new season items like a taco salad which I had and had homemade taco chips that were really good. Hubby loves their lasagna he swears by it. Don’t let the outward appearance (kinda small like I said) deter you from this place

With great reviews from Unilocal and locals as well, I’ve tried this place twice in the last year. Both times were huge disappointment. The price is good but the service is awful. On the last visit the waitress served myself my wife and left our children to wait 5 minutes before their food came out. This is unacceptable.
Food is OK, at best.

Sorry for the cliché, hands down the best pizza I have EVER eaten. Going home and throwing away any other pizza places phone numbers and coupons. It doesn’t get any better than this and they could charge double and it would still be worth it. I’m sending this restaurant flowers in the morning.

Family restaraunt. Great food great price fabulous service. Its a inexpensive family restaurant. Love it. Will revisit Ask for Cinnamon great server. For this type of place its a 5 for sure.

This is the place where everybody knows your name. There are regulars that show up everyday at the same time. The waitresses are sassy and you never know what mood they will be in. The food is down home and good. It isn’t flashy, it can be greasy but its always tasty. Where else can you get a sit down dinner for $ 5.99 or all-​you– can-​eat pizza and pasta night. I wouldn’t want to eat there every day like some but it’s good.
