Iam visiting from Miami for a while and i was looking for a good barbershop that can do a Combover Style haircut and Jerry’s barbershop definitely full filled exactly what i was looking for. Perfect attention to detail. Showed them a picture and mirrored exactly what I had in mind. Good Vibes. Jerry is a stand up guy. I definitely recommend anyone looking for a haircut to come here. He’s been in business for over 50 years and they know how to cut hair really well.

Have been bringing my two sons here for over a decade. We love Jerry and Faddy. Great with the kids and my husband likes Faddy’s attention to detail. Good people; great barbers!

Good cut. Good price. No atmosphere. Jerry needs to focus on cutting and not joking.

OK, to be completely fair up front, I’ve been going to the same barber shop in Howell for over ‘5 years, so there was a high standard to meet with me. I went to Jerry’s primarily because it’s close to my new place in Westland. I walked in and there were two barbers working, one younger and one older. There was also one older gentleman who was there just«killing time» and talking with them. I was directed to the younger barber, and the high-n-tight commenced. The haircut itself wasn’t bad, but i did miss the shave around the ears and back of the neck with the straight razor. Is it a lost art? I think the part that put me off most was the use o profanity by the staff. Not profanity in & of itself, I can sling some 4 letter words together pretty well myself, but the context is what was disturbing. Also the fevered talk about religion — specifically Muslim. One of 3 things that shouldn’t be discussed in a Barber shop &/or with people you don’t know all that well. Based on that, I’ll keep looking for the old-time barber shop experience every 2 weeks until I finally get it right, or I’ll be driving back to Howell more often than I anticipated!
