high prices, fresh food, long lines, decent perks… One stop shop… liquor, lunch, scripts, grocery. Best quality for fresh produce and meats in the area. Seafood selection is not bad either (for canton ohio)

I have to say, I have lived a lot of places and shopped at a lot of establishments, but this is by far the worst customer service and shopping experience I’ve had — Bar None! My Mother and I entered the store to drop off my dry cleaning and then do some shopping. The clerk behind the service counter was extremely rude. When we asked for her to mark stains on a garment I was having cleaned she stated «we don’t do that,» and did not offer an alternative.
We continued our shopping after the garment drop-​off only to find the store in complete disarray without a clerk to be found. We had to go to the front of the store to an employee — who probably should have been working — chatting up a co-​worker, and delaying check outs to get an answer where an item was located.
The topper was when we began to exit we saw $ 500 worth of my clothes sitting right where they were twenty minutes before — unattended to, where anyone could take them. When we told the new woman behind the desk she blamed it on the clerk who went on break. The clerk on break blamed it on the grocery manager who, in turn, blamed it on the store manager who wasn’t present.
The grocery manager did NOTHING to rectify the situation. In fact he said «it’s not my responsibility,» as he sheepishly apologized.
I WAS a frequent shopper at this particular Giant Eagle. I can definitively say I will NEVER shop there again!
