I’m going to assume that they staff has read these reviews and tried to correct most of the issues there. Before going in, i looked desperatey for another place to scan some old photos. By that, i mean i looked on Unilocal for like 5 minutes. i found nothing, so i decided to risk it and come in here. as soon as i walked in, i was greeted by an employee(and there were a handful of other customers who were busy working away) who showed me right to the scanning station and showed me how to use it. I already knew how to use it(because i go to the fedex kinko’s near my house in dc pretty often) but i still liked that he went the extra mile. here’s where it gets knowcked down a few stars: the sanner, as mentioned in another review here, is like a home/personal one. As a result, it takes longer than it should to scan documents. Additionally, in the 15 minutes I was using it, adobe crashed and I had to restart it twice. IMO, both of these are deliberate actions to make it take as long as possible to scan stuff so they can milk you for more money. Not a fan of being feeled like i’m getting cheated by the system, but this is how i’ve seen it done at every fedex. again, the staff was more helpful and friendly than other reviews here have indicated, so i’m giving them 3.

I wish I could give ZERO stars. I’m a business traveler, and whipped in to FedEx to ship a package. I mean it when I say I «whipped» in, careening my rental car into their empty parking lot at 8:56pm on a Saturday night. When the gentleman behind the counter saw me pull in, he walked up and locked the door — and the store didn’t close until 9PM! I had more than enough time to ship my package, and the employee made a conscious decision to not allow me in. So unprofessional. He knew it, too, because he wouldn’t make eye contact with me when I got out of my car at 8:57 and pulled on the door. Terrible service, terrible work-ethic, terrible impression.

Don’t go here to print but if yu need something shipped then the desk clerks are helpful. changing from 1 star to 4 stars

These wonderful people refused to help my 81-year old father. I asked my dad, who does not use a computer, to go there to scan and email some photos of my late grandfather. When he went there, they would not simply attach the photos to an email and send them. They said«we don’t do that.» Do they not use email at FedEx? As a result, my elderly father had to run all over town, taking the photos on a disc to the library to be emailed. Really lame.
