Especially For Pets

If we could give this place 10 stars we would! Had our dog Max groomed here for the first time and we could not be more pleased with the service we recieved! We were referred here by a coworker as we have been on the hunt for a groomer since we adopted Max in Sept of 2015 and have had numerous unsatisfactory experiences both at larger chains and small businesses. Decided to try it out and so glad we did. We were running about 5 – 10 mins late due to an accident on our way (coming all the way from North Attleborough). We called to let the staff know and unlike most places they were very understanding and nice. When we arrived the staff was extremely welcoming to both us and Max. They Walked us thru the paperwork and made us feel comfortable about leaving Max in their care. She walked us back to meet our groomer Julie and see where the groomif would take place which we genuinely appreciated as most places do not extend this service and it is nice to know who will be caring for your pet. Julie was awesome. She asked personal questions about max. What he likes and doesnt like as far as the grooming process. When we picked Max up he was very happy and super clean. His cut was just as we asked and he smelled delicious The overall shop was very clean and organized with alot of great quality products! We can’t wait to bring Max back next month!

I take my three small dogs to Julie for grooming about every six weeks. She is wonderful, does a great job and takes excellent care of my precious dogs.

I shop at the Especially for Pets Canton location on a regular basis, but last week was the first time I brought my long haired Chihuahua in for grooming. It was only the second time he’d ever been professionally groomed so I’m not sure who was more nervous him or me! Lindsey the groomer was extremely friendly and let me chat with her for a few minutes before I left him. She listened to what we were looking for (what to cut etc.) and totally made me feel at ease.
Knowing he was nervous she used the quiet blow dryer on him and took her time getting everything done. He came out looking ridiculously handsome and wasn’t stressed at all! I can’t say enough wonderful things about the staff here and we can’t wait to come back for the next haircut!

The quality of high range pet products and dogs is great. They have a lot of great specialty products I use regularly to keep my dogs at peak condition and performance. The store is large, bright and clean.
The staff is ok, they’re not always familiar with the products. The negative is the prices are higher than elsewhere. I’ve repeatedly mentioned the food I buy is quite a bit cheaper elsewhere and while I like supporting local businesses, I no longer buy it there. Same with collars and leashes, my favorite brands are cheaper elsewhere. Overall I like to go there during the week, typically spend $ 50−100+; I don’t go on the weekends when it is loud and chaotic and many of the dogs aren’t very well behaved.

I love this store! It’s the only place I go for my dog. Their selection of healthier dog food is great. The staff is friendly and always know who I am. They are knowledgable on their products. They also offer training and their trainers are very nice and know what they’re doing. They also have fun events
Every now and then. I got my dog, Thor, his very first photo with Santa last winter and it was awesome. All around a great place!

The management of this company could teach a few things to the rest of the employees. After reading my review I was issued a heartfelt apology, and refund. I still won’t return to this location, but perhaps I will make a purchase in one of their other locations.

We like this place. The dog grooming is good. The customer service is very knowledgeable and friendly. They have a wide selection of natural and organic products. And they offer classes to help with training and obedience.

We have our dog groomed there and the groomer always does a very nice job. And, if you need an appointment with 24 – 48 hours, usually you can get one.
Their staff is great. If you have questions about the proper food/​treats for your dog they don’t just say «buy this» because it’s the most expensive item, they actually ask questions about your dog’s diet, issues, behavior, etc. They get to know you, your pet, and the pet’s needs. Overall it’s a good place and while I haven’t checked prices to see if this is more expensive than a Petco, etc. I don’t mind spending more (if it is) because I appreciate their service and the selection of quality foods/​treats. I’d recommend this to a friend.

Very helpful and the manager Bonnie is very knowledgeable. I had a hard time switching my puppy’s dog food and she gave me some tips and advice and it went smoothly from there. Store is clean and doesn’t smell like dog like some other pet stores. They offer grooming and training.
