Amazing accommodations for our rather large party! Very small dining room to accommodate our party of 15 – 20. Service & food was amazing! Sorry to anyone else who may have tried to eat in while we were there.

Was on an overnight stay in Canton and looking for a local establishment to try. We all decided on Contessa’s. We’re sure glad we did.
Without writing a book, let’s just say, you must try their garlic cheese bread, pepperoni rolls, lasagna with either meatball or sausage and the Pasta Geno. The food was amazing, wonderful flavors throughout. The portions, let’s just say you’ll probably end up taking some home with you!
They definitely make you feel like family there. Next time in Canton we will definitely eat here again.

We stopped in for a quick bite. We had appetizers and they were INCREDIBLE! The stuffed hot peppers were my favorite! We also had wings, fried ravioli, fried zucchini, and a stromboli. Everything was hot and delicious! The owner was very friendly and I would recommend the food to anyone! We can’t wait to go back because we found a new favorite!

I’ve gone here about a dozen times and this place can be the best and it can be close to the worst. I don’t know what it is, but there just doesn’t seem to be any consistency with what they serve. The pizza and sandwiches should really be the same everytime. Prices are good and portions are large, especially when you dine-in. The staff is friendly and the owner is always there if you have a problem. There is one bigger guy with glasses that works there that has an appearance which probably isn’t best with his dirty looking clothes and stubble. Of course I’ve seen him get yelled at by the owner and other employees in front of customers which isn’t good either.
Will I go back? Yes, its close to where I work but I’ve given up on it being any better than a ok hole-in-the-wall place.

At the suggestion of the front desk agent at the Hilton Garden Inn I ordered pizza and meatballs from Contessa’s Pizzaria and was thoroughly disappointed with what I received. For starters, the food took one hour to be prepared and delivered, given the fact that the restaurant is only 5 miles away, I find this highly unacceptable. I could have forgotten about the long wait had the pizza arrived hot and delicious, but it was neither… not even close. The pizza was soggy and burned on top, the bottom was drenched in olive oil and was not eatable at all. The meatballs were flavorful but the cheese had fallen off the meatballs and turned into clump of goo in the aluminum dish it was delivered in. Although the meatballs weren’t great they did fill a void in my belly that the pizza was meant for.
I’m sure I will try out the other recommendation next time

I was generous on the the 2 star because last time I had pretty good food. This time, not so much.
Pizza was hot, but had hardly any sauce.
Meatball sub bread was burnt badly. They forgot our fries too.
Disappointed.

Absolutely fantastic food! Friendly staff made us feel welcomed. Low key environment. Brought our own wine and enjoyed a bottle with a large pizza amidst a day of shopping. We will be back soon and frequently!
