Barbaro’s Pizzeria

One of the top 5 pizza and Italian food carry out restaurants I’ve been to. The owner, Tony set up a Slice It Forward program where you can buy a slice for someone less fortunate or going through a tough time. I highly recommend visiting this establishment and talking with Tony. Nice guy with a big heart, full-​blooded Italian and great pizza. You MUST see for yourself.

This pizza is excellent! Finally we found a place that taste fresh and delicious. The people working there were so friendly and knowledgeable of their menu ingredients and even how often the meat is delivered fresh. We live quite a distance away but well worth the drive. If you want a fresh authentic tasting pizza i highly suggest you try this place!!!

This is by far the best New York style pizza we have had since moving to Canton. Highly recommend! Staff is super friendly, the delivery time may take up to an hour but totally worth the wait!

I have only been here for three weeks, in addition i have been searching for the best of pizza that north canton has to offer. Barbaros has delivered with the new york style pizza with great cheese and millimeter crust that demands both hands. (True new York style) i also ordered the regular stromboli. Great customer service and amazing new York style pizza, and stromboli.

What were the odds? What were the chances? Would it be possible that Barbaro’s would be any good? Could it be possible for a Barbarian to make a good pizza? I decided to find out, because I was drawn in by the solid five star rating and the fact that they had pizza by the slice.
The answer is yes! These guys Can make a good pizza. The other reviewers were true. It Is fairly authentic New York style pizza. I got a slice of sausage pizza for $ 1.75. along with a Spinach and Tomato Pinwheel for $ 4.00. The pizza was a good thin crust slice; actually it was beyond good. It was Great. The pinwheel however was absolutely insane. It was a giant four inch square (well round actually) hunk of pizza dough with spinach, tomatoe, ricotta and mozzarella cheese. The excessive ricotta made for lots of soft, creamy melt-​in-​your-​mouth goodness; along with wonderful chunks of stretchy mozzarella. It was simply one of the best things I’ve ever eaten.
The place is just a classic pizza parlor, so nothing to speak of there. But the worker guy was a complete chiller. A full lunch that included a slice of NY style pizza PLUS one of the best things I’ve ever eaten? And all of it for $ 5.75 and right here in Canton? Count me in.

For some unknowable reason, the area where I grew up (Northern Virginia) had a high concentration of authentic New York style pizzerias. It was what I grew up on, and I found myself very disappointed when I went to college and re-​settled into the Midwest. To learn that we have a gem like Barbaro’s here in Canton brings me so much joy. This incredible quality of ingredients reminds me of my best experiences with pizza growing up. I recommend the pepperoni pizza with a side order of cheese bread. You will not regret it.

I had passed this place many times, but was fearful to try a new pizza place. I went in today for lunch after seeing they sell by the slice, which is something I love! They had many sliced options available! I grabbed a slice of Bianca and a slice of pepperoni. Then as I was paying I noticed a little pizza that the owner told me was something the cook was just trying. They let me try the piece for free, and it was incredible! The owners were both very nice and made my experience that much better. I will definitely be back and trying new things!
I was very sad about the pizza options in Canton after Morello’s closed, but this place lifted my spirit. This is now my favorite pizza in Canton.

I have been going there since they open! For the lady with a bad report it must have been a new employee who didn’t know! The food is to die for! Melts in your mouth! Everything is fresh and homemade! No artificial foods there! True New York style! Subs, pasta, everything is bomb!!! I even tried there homemade cheesecake all I can say is WOW!!! PEOPLE GET IN THERE AND TRY IT ASAP!!! VERY affordable, great services, friendly workers, they always have great specials and pizza by the slice and strombolis.

Stopped in over lunch and had a coupon for two slices of pizza and a can of pop for $ 4. I really liked the pizza and love the fact that they sell it by the slice. The owner seemed like a nice guy so it felt good giving him my lunch business over some chain food joint. I’ll be back for sure.

I just visited this restaurant for the first time yesterday. Found them on Unilocal and they had good reviews, so we tried it. Also, I got a 10% off coupon for signing up for their text list. I ordered a small cheese pizza and a large calzone to be picked up. I didn’t see a price for the small pizza in the menu on Unilocal,I figured I just missed it. However, the calzone was $ 7.95. When I went to pick it up and he added the order up on the register and it came out to be $ 19.30. When I asked him about the price, because it seemed to be pretty high, he told me that the large pizza was $ 12.50 minus a $ 2 off special they were having and the calzone was $ 8.95. Then I got a little off for the 10% coupon. I started by telling him that I ordered a small pizza instead of a large. He told me that they only have medium and larges and he didn’t know why, but they always give a large when someone asks for a small. What? The pizza was ordered for just 1 person to eat. I didn’t need or want a large. Then I also told him that the menu online showed the calzone was $ 7.95. He sincerely thanked me and told me that he appreciated me letting him know so that they could change it. But he didn’t honor the price. Don’t get me wrong, the guy was very nice, and we’re talking about like $ 4 here total, so I didn’t bother to argue. But it did bother me. He was kind enough to offer me a free can of pop while I waited for my order, which I appreciated.
The food was ok. I prefer Hungry Howie’s to this place as it was a little bland. My daughter actually put butter on the crust of the pizza to give it some more flavor. The best part about it was the fact that everyone in the restaurant seemed very nice, but I don’t think I will go back. It has lots of good reviews tho… maybe I just caught them on a bad day?

Very friendly owner and the food is great for the price. $ 1.79 by the slice New York style pizza. Good quality ingredients. I prefer a cornmeal on my crust bottom, but other than that good stuff. Solid, quality Stromboli as well. Pinwheels looked great. Maybe next time.

My girlfriend is from Long Island, New York and this is the first time she has ever said «That is a New York pizza» outside of home. Great sauce and fresh ingredients. Must try if you like real New York pizza. Only drawback is they aren’t open on Sunday’s.

For being that little pizza place that moved in next door, I really hope this place sticks around for years to come. I’m very picky with my pizza, and these guys have yet to disappoint me. They’re super friendly there, too. Prices are fair, and everything is done right. Definitely worth giving a try, regardless of what your pizza preferences are. #bootynpizza

Amazing pizza i just grabbed the last 4 slices. They use real cheese not that artificial substitute. Great sauce and the best part you can buy a slice at a time if you want… Best Pizza in canton HANDS DOWN

Great pizza! The sauce is really good and the crust is just right. The spicy Italian sausage is amazing. I’m really glad to see another local pizza shop open that is actually good.
