Gloria’s made-​to-​order carrot cake with cream cheese icing is fresh, moist & delicious!

This is a small unassuming jewel on the way to The Royal Gorge Bridge. It’s about the middle of town on Main Street on the north side of the street. You need to look hard for it. It took me two close looks to realize they served food.
They have a $ 5 lunch special that is just too cool. You get a small roast beef sandwich, a bag of chips, some carrot sticks, some grapes, ranch dipping sauce, a drink (pop or a hot drink) and a cookie. I stopped for a snack and ended up eating a meal.
You can see the kitchen from the cash register and it really sparkled it was so clean! The owner served me and we talked food business for a bit and she seemed pretty sharp. She had a good idea about leasing space that she was trying. I enjoyed our conversation.
She gave me her card, but I lost it. My bad.
