This office provided the absolute worst experience my family has ever had with any medical professional. In a little over two months they required my husband to come in for three separate appointments — resulting in multiple insurance claims, at least one with a procedure code we could not identify — to receive a refill for a script he has had for over two years. The last time they would not even refill the script as they ‘couldn’t get a hold of the previous provider to verify the diagnosis.’ That previous provider? The VA! In over two months they could not get ANYONE on the phone at the Veteran’s Health Administration? I find that highly implausible, having contacted and worked with them for years. And mind you in all this time they never requested that we provide records ourselves to speed the process, never let us know they had any trouble reaching anyone, and never mentioned it would be a barrier to continued treatment. They consistently challenged my husband, making him feel ashamed to receive the medication and treatment he needs. Combined with the atmosphere and attitude of the support staff and the fact that my husband never even met an MD, this practice does little to uphold the oath of ‘first do no harm.’ If there was a way to recommend them less, I would.

Even though they open at 8 don’t expect an appointment at 8am or 8:30 either. I’ve been going here for a little over 2 years and I’ve seen most of the nurses there. I’ve never seen one of their doctors. One of the nurses will be friendly and listen to your complaint but it doesn’t sink in what you’re telling her. The place has a clinic mentality; as in they will only address one complaint per visit and I have been told that on the phone. If you like that kind of thing by all means check them out. Otherwise steer clear.
