Woody’s Landscape & Masonry

Woody’s Landscape and Masonry was GREAT! While I believe that they specialize in big msononry jobs and even artificial grass replacements, we just needed a good company to completely trim, clean up, and plant flowers and plants throughout our front and back yard. Woody’s gladly did this job and they did an AMAZING job! If there is a way to post pictures on this site, I will have to get some posted.
Woody personally oversaw the job and his entire crew was super nice! We felt extremely comfortable with them. We would ABSOLUTLY use Woody and his crew again!

Very disappointed in Woody’s service. We called for his Holiday Lighting business to have Christmas Lights installed. He was several hours late, although he did call to say he would be late. Then after giving us the estimate, he told us he would return the following Monday or Tuesday to do the installation. The price seemed on the high side but we were willing to try the service. He no-​showed on Monday, so I called and he told me he would be out for sure on Tuesday or Wednesday at the latest. He called late Tuesday night to say he wouldn’t make it on Tuesday, but «100%» would be there on Wednesday. He never showed on Wednesday, and did not call either. At this point, I would not trust him to provide the service, and am grateful he didn’t ask us for a deposit (or, I’m sure we would be struggling to get it returned). So tired of contractors that don’t keep their promises.

Woody did an extensive amount of work to our whole hardscape and landscape. He removed all the old cement that surrounded our pool — it was cracked and damaged. He replaced the concrete with Belgard pavers that look stunning. I would be happy to provide photos to anyone who wants to see how beautiful they are. He and his team also did a perfect job installing a retaining wall around the pool that perfectly matched the pavers. We are extremely happy with the many cedar raised beds he installed in the garden with a dynamite drip watering system that completes the other half of the backyard.
Out front — our sod lawn is the envy of the neighborhood. Beautiful new pavers finish the entry sidewalk. He installed a whole new sprinkler system, front and back. He even did all the woodworking for two gates and a blind around the pool equipment.
Woody’s prices are extremely fair. He was always on time, and everything he did was done with the care of a craftsman. Woody and Miguel and Pedro are the best and they finished on time.

First time he scheduled to give us an estimate for our standard west hills middle class house, he forgot. Second time he was late and I had to call him and again he forgot and talked about how much money he was making hanging Christmas lights for the stars, making me feel like he didn’t care about my backyard landscape job. He finally showed up and promised an estimate which, 4 months later, he still has not gotten back to me. Terrible service. No follow through.
