Ignored by staff. It’s not Prada. It’s not a nightclub. Lose the attitude. Will order online

I enjoyed shopping with them. Dan, their new sales person was so tidy and neat organizing my choices of clothing that I wanted to keep picking new items.

I was completely ignored by the staff the entire 45 minutes I browsed the store while every single person who walked in the store was greeted. I am a minority and I honestly felt discriminated against today. I walked by the sales staff numerous times and no one acknowledged me at all. I purchase all my professional clothing here, but will never shop here again after this experience.

I love J. Crew. The clothes fit me so well and the staff is nice. Chad always come through and is so damn helpful. I also respected that he introduced himself and shook my hand and I did the same. I feel that gestures like these are honestly unfortunately a thing of the past and I think it went a long way. I’m not an old lady or anything by the way.

I went in to this store for the first time and no one asked me for help. I was in the store looking at merchandise on the front table a handsome caucasian guy with brown hair(maybe in his 30s) walked right in front of me and stood there but didn’t ask me for help. I not your typical, looking customer. I am a 40 year old Hispanic professional woman. This was my first time in there. I wanted to see the clothing especially because michelle obama wears clothes from here. Very hurt and disappointed they did not acknowledge me. I won’t, be going into the store again.

I had to come in and review this store, in particular, because the manager(who’s name unfortunately escapes me at the moment) went out of his way to make sure I was able to use a gift card that was mailed to me by JCrew in the mail. He remembered me, which is always nice, from all the times I come in and check out what’s new and whats on sale not only from this store, but also from the one he used to manage over at Sherman Oaks. In any case, he asked if I’d received a gift card in the mail, seeing as to how often I buy stuff/return, he was correct in guessing that I’d received one, but I explained that when I tried to use it online it was rejected/void. He asked me if he could see it, luckily I had it with me, and he went ahead and called to two separate corporate number and resolved the issue so that I was able to use it on the items i purchased. How many times can people say that now a-days about customer service? Very rare indeed. I appreciated his efforts very much. On a previous venture to this store, another employee was equally helpful and awesome so that I could purchase a beautiful pair of their famous flats for a bargain price(long story short: the pair they had in the store had a ink mark on it(suede!) and he was kind enough to get me in touch with their phone order people so that they could track down a same exact pair somewhere in America, and have them shipped for free to me at the sale price of the damaged pair). Love this brand, especially the shoes because they are quality for the price, especially the flats, and in particular this location. Thank you and your awesome staff!

What happened to this place? I love J Crew… and I used to frequent this one a lot… because of it’s close proximity… but this store has really gone downhill… and I’m not sure why. They used to give you these little pint-sized bottles of water… not necessary but a lovely touch. Phone service? I haven’t been offered this here in forever! They also used to give college student and teacher discounts… which they don’t do any more… or have extremely restricted. Also, just the selection of clothing has changed. Maybe it has become more bland and boring… definitely, obviously, not the fault of this particular store… but I used to find a ton of things here… and now, I rarely find anything here. Everything is so plain… I used to like the whimsy to their designs… so that’s depressing. Also, this particular store doesn’t seem to carry a variety of cashmere(the one in Santa Monica and the one in El Segundo do) so that’s pretty eh. They do sometimes have great sales meaning an additional % off the sale items(like an additional 20−40% off) but again, the«new» stuff they’ve been bringing in is so blah… I can’t be enticed even by this… bleh.

Pricey but they currently have tweed jackets that I have been searching for for over a year now. Unfortunately, it was gray rather than brown or I would have bought it then and there even though it was $ 200! This is the second J. Crew I’ve visited in the past week in search of the $ 30 linen pants I saw online. That is a SSTEAL! Wanted to physically try on the pants before I buy it but I might have to go the online route since the search is so time consuming.

Love the staff at this location!(Frank, Juli, Maya, who else am I forgetting?! You’re all great!) They will make you feel at home when you come to this Jcrew store. It is true that this is one of the smaller stores, so they mostly carry the basics. I always find great sale items here, and if you can’t find it, the staff will always be willing to help you find it.

I love J. Crew– but this one is so limited, its depressing. You can’t get anything nice here(cashmere or dresses), but for basic work wear and casual, its awesome. The people who work here are awesome, as with every other J. Crew I’ve ever been in(ice cold water bottle, anyone? phone service?). Sale prices can be addictive as well. And yes, I know I should be embarrassed about my J. Crew addiction, but there are some really amazing deals here, and just about every Wal-Mart and Target item you buy is a J. Crew knockoff. So ha.
