This is a review strictly for their breakfast burrito and it deserves this level of attention. The egg, potato, cheese, and bean slice of heaven wrapped in fresh flour loveliness is worth the 5 doubloons it costs. They give you a variety of dipping sauces – ranging in spiciness from jalapeño to volcano. Try them all. You won’t regret it.(Remember, water just makes the burning worse!). Oh and the chips come with just a hint of that Lawry’s seasoning salt that my grandma used to use to change the oil in our jalopy. Mmmm!

I found this place when I was dropping off some clothes at the nearby dry cleaner. The owner is very nice and accomodating. The food is good and the prices are fair. The burritos are good and so are the tortas. I’ve had the menudo once and it was also tasty.

I used to be a fan of Rubio’s and Baja Fresh and thought they were real Mexican food. I still am a fan, but after trying this hole in the wall, I think this is as close to real Mexican food as possible. Of course I could be dead wrong as I have to try a few other places first. But for now this is the best mom and pop place I’ve had in awhile. They serve a delicious breakfast burrito packed with eggs, potatoes and guacamole, which isn’t even on the menu. I also tried the carne asada which did not have as much meat as say Alberto’s but still quite good. Service was also decent, they put the tables together for our big group.
