I wanted to write a review for Green Thumb Growing Grounds after reading the negative reviews from other people. First off this is a commercial «trade only» business. They do not provide advice on plants, how to maintain them, install or give any warranties. If you want that, go to their retail division on Sherman Way, Home Depot or Lowes.
I have bought many plants from them and have had incredible results. If you are having trouble picking the right plants I’d suggest reaching out to a professional landscaper or going to their retail store. It’s very tricky to get the right plant for the right area, especially since our conditions vary with extreme heat.
I’ve had nothing but positive experiences with the customer service and plants and supplies that I’ve bought over the years. I also know many other people in the trade who rely and trust Green Thumb on a regular basis.
They are a family owned and operated business for almost 70 years and have one of the widest selections of plants in the West Valley. From ground cover to trees to native and drought tolerant plants, succulents to perennials, you will be hard pressed to find a wider range. I’ve heard they have over 3,000 varieties of plants on hand at all times.
The Green Thumb Growing Grounds has excellent selection and quantities if you are doing a larger landscaping installation. If they do not have what you need, they can often order it and get what you are looking for in 1 – 2 days even. They also offer soil amendments, ground covers, fertilizers and everything you need for the actual planting. They do not sell tools or other equipment. Their custom service has always been polite and professional, and their prices are very reasonable.
