First off, thank you for a great gluten free pizza my wife can enjoy, she has Celiac disease and there aren’t many places where we can eat a meal together. Some reviewer complained about it, dude this is the same GF crust every place uses, it is pre-made in a dedicated GF facility. You can’t make GF pizza dough somewhere regular dough is prepared, the flour is everywhere. D’Amores has the decency to sell that pizza at a reasonable price and their sauce/cheese/toppings are all very high quality. Can’t say the same for other places selling this same pizza crust… Secondly though I must mention the CALZONE! I took a chance and ordered one with Sausage and Roasted Red Peppers, I opened the box and could not be more pleased! It’s roughly the size of a medium pie folded in half and they cut it into 4 pieces with a side of hot marinara. Amazing crust, not too much corn meal, and a nice but not overly chewy bite. They don’t skimp on the cheese or toppings either, really great mix. Easily enough for two people, I saved half for later.

Love the thin crust pesto pizza here! Meatless Italian is also very tasty and filling. We had a large of each and it was plenty of food for the three of us so I feel the prices are justified. Service was nice, the pizza is made to order so expect to wait about 20 – 30 minutes, a bit longer for the thick crust. Intimate space, but was not too full when we went and had plenty of seating. Excellent quality in crust as well as toppings and not heavy so it won’t leave you feeling guilt the rest of the day.

The pizza was better than most Pizza chains you call around. A bit pricy but well worth it if you’re trying to eat healthy. Will most likely return one day in the future.

I don’t even know where to begin to explain my utter disappointment with this pizza. The prices are outrageous and the quality of the pizza is underwhelming to say the least. It tastes like the pizza that I had as a child in the LAUSD system so that should tell you how bad it is however d’amores pizza still pales in comparison to that pizza. These guys pay more attention to getting pseudo celebrity endorsement than making quality pizza as you’ll notice right away with all the photos marred on the wall. If you want real New York style pizza I recommend FERNANDASNEWYORKPIZZA on Sherman Way & Kester which is way more affordable and 100x better. If you still want to give it a try they have other food but that’s up to you.

Good pizza in the valley. Staff is very welcoming. The only suggestion I would make is there is very little sauce on the pizza leaving it rather dry. Next time I order I would ask for extra.

The pizza here is soo delicious. My favorite part about this pizza is the super thin crust. They put a decent amount of sauce and cheese. I always get mine with pepperoncini since it gives it a nice mild spice. The pizza is a little but pricey but worth it. I also love how the company is family owned.

I’m laughing because I seriously doubt this guy imports water from Boston, come on! That would be so expensive to ship here or pay for truck delivery since shipping goes by weight. Anyway I’ve been coming here for a long time and yes the pizza is good. Not as good as back east but good as far as California pizza goes. The problem is the price. I think there is equal pizza places around that are better priced. This places charges to much for their pizza. It’s not worth the price. If the price was better I would give them 4 stars.

The pizza is over priced and has a bland taste. There are better places around(Jerry’s, Fabrocini’s) that are cheaper.

Well another Great little spot in the Valley that puts out some good food. Small little spot that seats about 25 people. Fast food concept. Order your food at the counter and they will bring it to you. Several lunch specials, depending how hungry you are. I ordered the Cold Cut Sandwich with the house salad and a beverage of your choice. The house salad was very good, just by its self. It had a mixture of roman and iceberg lettuce along with tomatoes, olives, peppercinis, beans, mozzarella cheese and most of all, there version of Italian dressing. Very good. This location does a lot of catering to the celebrities, as you enter you will see all the pictures of all the stars it caters to. The employees where very nice and very attentive during my visit. A plus.

It’s been a long time since I lived in the San Fernando Valley, but whenever I make it back to my hometown, one of my first stops is always D’Amore’s. During my senior year of high school, my best friend and I would drive to D’Amore’s for a late lunch after class at least once a week. Back then, the two of us were capable of demolishing a large pizza, but we never dreamed of employing these dubious skills anywhere but D’Amore’s. We considered a large cheese pizza and a couple of sodas to be the perfect lunch, and though I’ve eaten at truly spectacular restaurants in the years since then, I’m not sure I’ve ever found a lunch I’ve enjoyed as much. D’Amore’s is also a terrific delivery option. Sometimes the wait can be long, but they’re always honest about the expected wait time, and in my decade of ordering delivery from them the pizza never arrived outside of the allotted window of time. The pizza always arrived hot and fresh, and tasted just as good as it did in the shop. Years after my friend and I both moved away from Los Angeles my father passed away. My friend, unable to make it to LA for the funeral, did the thing he thought would be the most meaningful to me: he sent a few D’Amore’s pizzas to my house. I knew I loved D’Amore’s, but I also discovered that it could be the ultimate comfort food. Perhaps I’m remembering D’Amore’s through rose-colored glasses, and I recognize that my love for the pizza is the result of personal experience as much as the flavor. But for my money, there is not a better slice of pizza in the San Fernando Valley, and perhaps all of Los Angeles, than D’Amore’s.

The pizza crust taste good. The crust has less gluten and is imported from Italy so my stomach doesn’t bloat like its 9mo pregnant. Regular crust with daiya cheese, olives, garlic, jalapeños, eggplant, zucchini is awesome! All of the crust comes thin crust. The gluten free option has egg so it’s a no go if you’re vegan. The tomato sauce is organic. No msg used. I like this locations crust better then the one on ventura but this location over charges. The same pizza cost $ 10 less at d’amore a on ventura. Location is clean, full of old selfies of the owners lol. Camarillo location looks the best I would come here again if they didn’t overcharge, the pizza is already overpriced as is.

Their Gluten Free pizza is pretty good. Lots of excellent toppings to choose from, and a nice crispy crust. Love that I get to enjoy pizza with my family even though I’m gluten free!

First time trying this pizzeria and it wasnt impressive at all. I’m not sure if it was because the dough was gluten free or not but it did not have that doughy texture a pizza dough should have. My wife sad the dough was like eating crackers with toppings on it. If the dough was gluten free then that would make sense why it didn’t have the same texture as regular pizza dough. However if it was gluten free that dough sucked! They need to change up that recipe for sure. The pizza also could have stayed in the oven a bit longer at a higher temperature because the middle of the pizza was limpy. I hate it when you grab your slice and the thing falls limp and your toppings fall off. I want a slice to be some what firm enough to hold without the toppings falling off. So a suggestion for the person in the back leave it in a bit longer and maybe at a higher temp also. I ordered a supreme or combination pizza which was loaded with toppings. My wife likes alot of toppings on her pizza but i think the lesser the toppings the more you can could taste each and every topping. Simple awesome toppings is great for me. Like the saying goes«quality not quantity».

I love the family feel of this place. The owners are proud of their business and their family and I really appreciate that. The pizza also happens to be great! We ordered by the slice– one bianco slice for me(basically white pizza) and one Canadian bacon and pineapple for him. The slices were served up nice and hot not too long after we ordered. My bf’s slice looked pretty good but I think I scored on the better of the two. They were generous with the cheese and the flavor was awesome! I’m picky about my white pizza so I was happy to have my craving satisfied! Definitely will be back when my next white pizza craving kicks in!

I’m totally confused: Voted #1 pizza in the nation… but that was 2002; Water imported from Boston is what the web site boasts… but the truck boasts flour, olive oil and water from Naples. Plus… expensive. Why???

I really enjoyed D’amore’s pizza. I never knew about them till I got a Groupon. They have large pizza, the bread rolls are delicious, the salad was definitely different with all the cheese. I liked the décor it was simple but it also had pictures all around the restaurant of the D’amores with several different celebrities. It kept me occupied while waiting for the pizza. We order a combination pizza as well as their Sicilian pizza. The Sicilian pizza was good but I wouldn’t order it again I enjoy red sauce this was white sauce. The combination has the perfect amount of toppings and definitely flavorful. The guy who helped us was super friendly and I definitely recommend this place.
