Just ate at white fire grill worst service I ever had got there at 6 and waited 2 hrs to get food you have to be crazy ever to eat there I never usually get mad at restaurants but boy am I pissed

Walking distance from Hampton Inn Canfield– very nice interior, the bar is very classy upscale. I had the fish Tacos with blueberries watermelon salsa white fish was blackened. House salad was fresh crisp lettuce carrots n cherry tomatoes and side steamed Green beans with a hint of sliced Almonds. I gave a 4 stars. it’s worth the trip

This place is over rated. The prices are high, you only get one side with your dinner and the portions are small. The salad was terrible for a nice restaurant, the steak was bland and not charred likes a steak should be. Save your money.

Definitely eating here on Valentine’s Day and was surprised they had tables with no wait. Then again whenever we come there is no wait but we love the pretzel rolls. But wait we came today and they don’t serve them. Ordered a bottle of wine and was great. Then the house salad we always loved still taste great but only a few scrapings of lettuce, next our favorite calamari tasted delicious but only a few rings on the plate and it was gone. Mentioned to the waitress are you guys running out of food and her reply was «well we sold over 10 k worth of foot yesterday». Now in disappointment waiting for our main course. Well the first thing I ordered they did not have. Atleast it was better than last night where the Italian place in downtown Youngstown forgot my food. Now for the main meal looks like a full plate of food. Guess it’s time to move on from once a nice resturant.

We went last night. Our server was great! My dinner partner loved the steak. I ordered chicken & it was cooked very well just lacking in the flavor department, & do enjoy the atmosphere there. I am disappointed in the garden salad however. It’s definitely the iceberg lettuce packaged mix from the grocery store. For the prices at this restaurant, I would expect a freshly chopped salad with different types of vegetables. I hate the taste of the prepackaged & wont use it at home. And would not expect this at a restaurant like this.

Very good happy hour! Very slow service though. I recommend always sitting at the bar for the best service.

Very pleased. The food is top notch. A little pricy, but well worth it. Can’t wait to try one of the burgers next time.

Lousy service, took long to get waited on, food only luke warm.
Had to ask server for more water, steak sauce and pasta cheese. Each item was delivered slow. I didn’t read reviews before our visit. I will in the future. Very disappointed!

I stumbled across White Fire while I was in Canfield on business. I wanted something that upheld the standard of dining I’m used to and White Fire did not disappoint! I had the calamari and the house burger. The calamari was perfectly fried and lightly breaded so it didn’t feel like you were eating something heavy or greasy. The burger was probably among the best I’ve had and I appreciated how well they did medium rare (which is not easy to do!) Maria took fantastic care of me and my team and we all left in a better mood then we came in with. If you’re looking for a quality dining experience, White Fire is it!

First visit and impressed with atmosphere and service. Ordered the California Fish Tacos. I travel a lot and dine out 3 – 4 nights a week. Have had many good and bad meals… especially Fish Tacos… one of my favorites when done right. Found the blackened tilapia fish tacos here to be just average. Not a fan of the blueberry-​watermelon salsa. Tossed salad and bread before dinner just average also. Will likely return to give a second chance… probably best to order something safe (i.e. Hamburger).

Terrible service. Was not greeted at the door for nearly 5 minutes. After we were seated, it took 15 minutes more to get a glass of water. Food was good but not worth the aggrivation.

I won a gift card here… So thought I’d give it a try … even though the reviews were not great. Unfortunately many are true. … My expectations were low.

Walking in; I see nothing really changed with the décor, it’s basically the same as the last restaurant that closed a few years ago. …it’s nice enough… Okay, okay… Everything is beige… a sea of beige and boring… yawn…
Monotonous even.
I had my youngest with me, we were relaxed and unhurried… It was a Tuesday around 5:00 pm. There was one other table of two.
We were placed with a uninspired server who didn’t bother to see what the soup de jour was… any chef specials …
or the latest menu item they were out of.
I tried the ’ lobster roll ’ made with freezer burnt rubbery lobster and an over seasoned southwestern spin? The flavor profile was totally off. Yuck.
Now I see why they have no salt shakers on the table… Really?: /​
I question if the chef ever tried a real lobster roll.
My child ordered some undercooked pasta Alfredo w/​unclean oversalted shrimp…
Sent back.
We didn’t take ANYTHING home… Left it all. It’s a shame really… It appears as if the chef has lost his/​her passion. It shows in so many ways and has penetrated the wait staff.
This spot would benefit by a more talented … driven chef who is still excited about food.

Over priced for cold food and rude servers. Service was slow. Food came out cold. Nothing special here for the price. Disappointed and we will not go back.

I stopped in for a late lunch, ate at the bar. I had the lobster roll and substituted the french fries with a veggi-​ka-​bob. The staff was very polite and my order took no time at all. Very upscale atmosphere, there is also a patio if you choose to eat outdoors. If I have to find fault it would be with the circa 1970 musak being piped in?!

I’m am giving this 5 stars for the service and the quality of my entrée. Sat at the bar at a high top, bartender was very attentive and I didn’t need to wait for anything, including having my water filled. I ordered one of the specials, a pistachio encrusted sea bass that was perfectly seasoned and perfectly cooked, the white wine caper sauce was one of the best I have had. I travel a lot and cook a lot as well… when I am in Youngstown I always choose the Hampton Inn for their service and because they are next to White Fire. I will return.

Lovely atmosphere, nice bar, their food is horrible very salty, service is also poor. The place is never busy tried the place 3 times, still poor quality of food. Ordered drinks at the bar, only 3 people there, still took forever.

Horrible slow service. Had to ask for water 3 times. Waiter kept telling us about his other table of seven kept him busy. Orders were wrong. My birthday, desserts didn’t come after 2 hours. TWO HOURS AND NO DESSERT. Don’t waste your time.
Food was dry. Took an hour to get rolls. Had to literally beg for drinks. Dirty plates sat on table for an hour. DON’T DO IT.

It is not often I give 5 stars! I selected White Fire because it was next to hotel and I just drove 10 hours from Central. IL and I was done with driving! Will and Angie are great and entertaining too! They were busy filling drink orders, serving us at bar, cleaning glasses and well Angie broke on too!
I had the black and blue burger! It was AWSOME! It came with a jalapeño pepper stuffed with cheese and wrapped in bacon stuck on top with a side salad it was delicious. I am not a fan of heat, love flavor it had an acceptable bit, great flavor. i devoured it. The burger was cooked the way I love it, medium rare. I even had to, chose to, not sure which, i ate it with a fork as It kept sliding apart because there was so much blue cheese, yum yum. Burger fit the bun too. This is one of my pet peeves.
I would defiantly recommend this place!!! It was a great conclusion to a long drive!

Great menu, great atmosphere! Lounge/​bar area with fireplace very nice and cozy. Good food and the service was good. All told one of the better spots on Canfield side of 224!
