We were really looking forward to trying Andrea’s after getting a recommendation from my hairdresser and the great Unilocal reviews. Sadly, it was not to be as the place is closed for renovations. Unfortunately there is nothing on their website to indicate this, we found out when we pulled into the empty dark parking lot. A small sign on the door says«Closed for Renovations» but no date for re-opening. I get the need to renovate but update your website to let people know! We’ll try again if we get word they have reopened and hopefully I can leave a good review when I do.

Awesome! Every dish was awesome — from fish to wonderful red sauce. A gem of a restaurant and the chef, Andrea, he was wonderful and tweaked the dishes for a party of 14! So yum!

This has to be the best Italian food in Youngstown. We live in Chicago but have family here and loved it. The red sauce on the ravioli was great as was the Italian wedding soup and the bread. The portions were massive, I only ate half and took the rest to go. We will definitely be back.

Service was a little slow, but our waitress seemed really nice. I found the food to be run of the mill and nothing the special. Maybe it’s because I am from the New York area and can find amazing authentic Italian at the drop of a hat. I was already a little down on the place, when at the end of the meal, the waitress proceeds to scrape all the food off our plates while we are STILL sitting at our table. She does this while having a conversation with us. I just can’t even. A bit classless. Please advise your servers that this is not ok.

First time dinning here. The food was sooooo good. There were 8 of us and every meal was perfect. Drinks were also made to perfection. We had pasta dishes and a variety of fish orders. Best fresh fish selection I have seen on our area. Service was slow but the excellent food made up for that. I had the Salmon and my husband had Swordfish both great choices. The ravioli our friend had looked really good and she said it was. We will be back soon.

Amazing! Passing through and not wanting chain restaurants. Far surpassed our expectations starting with the house wine for $ 5.50 a glass to the chicken cacciatore and spaghetti and clam sauce. They are new and signage is not great but I promise you will not be disappointed.

Went to Andrea’s the first time last Friday. It will definitely not be our last. The place was a hidden gem. The waitress was fantastic, very attentive and friendly. The food was amazing. I got the gnocchi and my wife got the seafood cavatelli, which was the special. Great flavor and huge portions. The only disappointment was the wedding soup which was kind of bland. Otherwise, it was one of the best Italian meals we have had and that includes Little Italy in both Cleveland and New York.

The owner or manager just came by and asked if we were first time visitors. We said yes. Then he offered to pick up our dessert this evening! Love this place. Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Excellent Neapolitan cuisine. Incredible presentation for the price. A unique find in the land of Briar Hill pizza and wedding soup.

I went to Andrea’s on the advice of a friend. It has been open for a while, but if you live anywhere in the tri-state area you will soon know about it. It’s authentic Italian cuisine, not the so-called American Italian cuisine that is so popular in the area. The chef is a recent transplant from Naples, so you can only imagine how awesome the food is. I had the ravioli(see my photo!) and my dad had the incredible lasagna. It was a toss up between which was better, but I could eat either every day and would a very happy man. We sat at the bar and chatted up the owner and the bartender and had an overall great time. I would recommend this place to anyone. Oh, and for dessert make sure you get the tiramisu. It’s as amazing as the ravioli.

We dined there on a thursday evening. Overpriced and the portions were tiny. Service was good and nice atmosphere.
