Erin did my wedding makeup. She is skilled and it turned out okay (besides that the foundation didn’t provide full coverage for blemishes and freckles). I think she may have used mineral makeup as it caused me to breakout following the wedding on the honeymoon. When I arrived to be made up, completely void of makeup, she sprang on me that a photographer would be coming to shoot photos for the salon. I mentioned that I wasn’t comfortable with that and she talked me into just having the back of my head shot as she applied makeup. She seemed unfriendly towards me for the remainder of the appointment.

Erin is an incredibly talented and skilled make up artist and esthetician! I regularly go see her for facials and come out feeling relaxed and pampered. She also did a fantastic job on my make up for a photo shoot I did with my family. I will most definitely be using her services again when I get married!

I always thought of facials as a special occasion pampering so in the past I would only get them maybe once every couple of years like on a Birthday, Cruise or Girls Day Out. I’ve had good ones and I’ve had bad ones. I never had any major skin problems like acne or blemishes so I didn’t see the need. Well now my age AND FACE are telling me differently. It seems the elasticity of young skin has deserted me, I have this strange dry patch on my upper eye lid, I think i even have what they call «age spots» now too. I’M NOT READY TO LOOK OR ACT MY AGE YET!
I saw this special «repeat customers» offer from Luminary Esthetics and it seemed to call out to me. I now get monthly treatments at a huge savings. I only pay $ 35 instead of $ 85. My skin is actually improving. The wrinkly loose skin under my eyes is tightening and my skin is smooth and polished. I think by next year I could actually get away with lying about my age again. I hate it when people guess my age correctly. They used to always guess 5 – 10 years younger!
All this time I’ve been spending way more money on having my nails done. It’s not like people look at your nails when they talk to you, they look at your FACE! That’s where I should be spending my time and money on! I’ll let you all know how it’s going after a few more months. Maybe by then I’ll actually post a new profile picture showing my glowing youthful skin!
