We loved working with Dream Team Events! Although we planned the wedding ourselves, we quickly realized that it would be very helpful to have a designated person to coordinate all the details and respond to any last minute changes on the big day. This proved to be true! Several friends provided services along the way but this is definitely a job that should be reserved for a professional. I was genuinely relaxed on my wedding day because I knew we had hired wonderful vendors and had Dream Team’s help to manage anything that might come up. Even though we selected a modest package, Chelsea and Kathie worked very closely with us for the last few months of planning. Chelsea met us at our ceremony and reception venues multiple times, called our vendors or met with them personally, and was always available by phone and email. Having a professional’s opinion was invaluable — she gently pointed out details we had forgotten and always had great ideas. Chelsea went above and beyond to help us find an amazing get-a-way car — a 1964 white Lincoln Continental! We had a very limited budget and she found the car and negotiated the deal for us. Chelsea is very professional but also a lot of fun to work with! We felt comfortable with her from the very beginning. We met with a few other wedding coordinators before we selected Chelsea and she definitely stood out from the competition. She connected with us and allowed us to tell our story but also helped us create a rough day-of-timeline in our first meeting. She is very personable but action-oriented, prepared, and knowledgeable. As a caveat, I will say that we had a strong vision for what we wanted our wedding to be and I had lined up most of the big pieces before we met with Dream Team Events. Chelsea and I don’t necessarily have the same style but she was able to accept our sometimes non traditional desires and execute!
