Knotty Pine Diner

Today after I finished work I was recommended by the customers I just finished work with to come to the knotty pines. After arriving I was pleased to find the atmosphere matched the name. Great pinewood interior decorated with pictures of locally hunted deer. This gave the restaurant a very personal, friendly environment. Not to mention the waiter was extremely nice. But after all that, the thing that made it spectacular was the Buffalo sauce on the chicken fingers! I go to all different kinds of restaurants specifically for chicken fingers and hot sauce and this by far has the BEST HOME MADE hot sauce I’ve ever had! So all in all I wasn’t expecting anything more than a diner but got splendidly surprised by all that I mentioned above and because of that I will definitely become a repeat customers. This is definitely a Diamond in the rough. 5 stars.

This is exactly what my fiancée and I were looking for. Great service with great food! We loved the home town diner atmosphere here. We ordered two eggs and hash, and they were cooked perfect! I also ordered a pancake with strawberries, and it was amazing!
I would highly recommend it!

Great breakfast! Good biscuits and gravy. Fresh strawberry on the pancakes were delicious. Also try the grilled muffins. The servers were so polite! Glad we stopped there instead of the Denny’s down the street.

One of my favorite restaurants. Their lasagna is amazing and there barbecue is to die for!

Not too bad. Sort of bland diner food, but I don’t regret stopping.

They sucked me in with the smell of BBQ! I was hungry and it was lunchtime! This was my first time visiting the Knotty Pine and I wasn’t inside as I went to the BBQ pit but if the food inside is anythign like the pulled pork, it’s worth a visit.
Served with a choice of 2 side, the pulled pork sandwich was really tasty. Just enough sauce, just enough kick! Baked beans were good too — not too sweet and nicely cooked.
The pit also has chicken, brisket and wings so will definitely stop back again.

Standard diner fair with an outdoor barbecue pit (Thurs through Sun) in the summer. Been there a number of times because it is so close. Ribs were tender, chicken is crisp, and the burgers were juicy. The pancakes and french toast left a bit to be desired.
