I had hundreds of coins that my parents had collected and saved over the years. I had no idea what to do with them once I inherited them. I was told by a trusted friend that this business was honest and run by a gentleman that had a lot of integrity. He spent well over four hours looking at everyone of my coins and paper money. He gave me the actual book prices and a fair deal that he would also be able to make a commission off of. The negotiation was very easy and relaxed. There was never any push on his part for me to sell to him. I would highly recommend Smitty’s to anyone who is not a coin collector.

Smitty’s has a ebay account for some of the inventory I suppose he has trouble moving in store. Attempted to come to some sort of deal for a card appraised at around 5.00−6.00 dollars. A miscut card normally worth .05-.06. 10,000% is more than generous in this situation, seeing as most slight-moderate common miscuts I purchase, I receive for 1 – 2 dollars. Smitty doesn’t seem to take ebay seriously, rebutting with a 26.01 offer on a card he had listed for 27 dollars. A .99 discount isn’t bargaining, its being presumptuous and offensive. If you want real prices on magic cards, go anywhere but here.

I wanted to write this review because the last one was negative. I was greeted immediately by a very friendly owner who answered all my questions. Good variety of items for a collector. I would definitely return to this store.

The prices of the Magic packs are cheaper than everywhere around, and lots of coins and currency.
