Bartender Nathan was unattentive. Ted Cricket was very uninformative. Service was terrible. Steak was great. Bartender could not handle crowd

Hmmm, I was not impressed. The fried pickles were too salty. The crab cakes were ok. It was served on corn and canned tomatoes… bad presentation. The broccoli was good. The Prime Rib just wasn’t.

I was a little hesitant to visit this restaurant looking at some of the reviews, but it was so close where I was, decided to give it a chance. Glad I did, perhaps I got lucky but had excellent service, great steak and shrimp scampi, delicious! I will say that drinks take a long time but I think that had to do with the bartender rather than the server, and to be fair I ordered a coffee drink not on the menu, which was very good. Server had us do a questionnaire about the service for a free appetizer, and typically these things are applied the next visit, but he was willing to apply it to the current visit. Not a bad deal at all. I will go back, but wouldn’t recommend it in case of strict time restrictions, like a half hour lunch.

Worst service ever. DONOTEATHERE. they do not know how to serve customers or cook they’re food. They under cut one persons prime rib. And severely over cooked another. Mangement did very little to fix issues. Brought back one of our sent back orders(the under cut one) after cooking it a little longer. Had to repeatedly ask for ketchup, rolls, water, coffee, creamer. And instead of sweet tea was also given unsweetened tea.

So among your typical«American» chain restaurants like Applebees and Chilis, O’Charley’s really stands out to me as the best of the bunch. Awesome bread, decent beer list for a chain restaurant, and significantly better quality of food.(Now keep in mind that I’m comparing them to Applebees and not some $ 50/person Cameron Mitchell restaurant when I say better food.) I typically go to the O’Charley’s in Reynoldsburg, but I think I’m going to switch my preferred O’Charley’s to this one in Canal Winchester. It’s not nearly as crowded(I especially hate the traffic on Hill Rd in Reynoldsburg!), the service is really good, and the food quality is on par as the one in Reynoldsburg. Will definitely be back.

Very slow service with 3 different people waiting on us. After ordering we noticed 3 tables around us that had sent steaks back, which is what 2 of us ordered… 25 minutes later the food came and sure enough both steaks were over cooked. The shrimp I ordered was chewy and cold mixed in with warm pasta. After waiting on the steaks I gave up. No bill, free pie Wednesday and won’t be back. This is the norm for this particular location, even after change in managers. Too bad there isn’t more to choose from in canal. Good luck

I called to order curbside service at 4:20 pm today. After an unbelievable number of rings someone picked up long enough to put me on hold. After a 25 minute wait, someone picked up the phone to take my order. Before placing my order I announced I would pick up inside the store and would be asking for the manager. Ended up that it was the manager taking my order. I expressed my deepest dissatisfaction. He apologized and said he would«make it right». Since I had been on hold for so long, I had actually left home to run my other errand, so by the time my order had been placed I was 5 minutes from the store. I took my time on my errand and showed up at The restaurant after about 30 minutes of placing the order. There were a handful of people in the lobby waiting to be seated, and quite a number of clean empty tables. I could see that the problem was in staffing. I stood at the carry out window for about 15 minutes while«Mariah» took phone orders, never making eye contact with me, or asking if anyone was helping me. Another lady came in and Mariah asked if she was here to pick up an order. My head just about blew off my shoulders. They went back for the lady’s salad and she mentioned she had been sitting outside in the pickup area for 15 minutes. I didn’t bother to share my experience. After taking care of her, Mariah went back to the phones. Finally, the manager came up and asked me if I was there for pickup and asked for my name. Hearing my name, he apologized again(dryly). My order came up and the young ladies behind the counter(including Mariah) were asking questions,(I wasn’t listening as I was checking my order). The manager said, «I took care of that». Mariah said«here’s your order“‘ and turned her attention to the man that had just walked in… asking for his name. So, I stood there with my hand on the bag waiting for her to ring it up… since we never made eye contact. I asked her if she was going to ring it up. By this time… I was ready to blow a gasket. She said, «the manager took care of it.» I reminded her that I had no way of knowing who he was talking to, or what they were talking about… she just looked at me and I didn’t know they were referring to my order in that conversation. What crappy service! Yes, I got a free meal(no dinner rolls), but these people couldn’t have cared a bit about service. The manager didn’t show a true sense of remorse. I’m so done with those people. Mariah needs to find another line of work, and the manager needs to go back to corporate headquarters for re-training on staffing, customer service and general management. Btw… the chicken in the chicken pecan salad was overcooked… burned edges. Blech!

Food was great. Service by Trevor was a welcome relief after a string of bad experiences elsewhere.

Good food love the buffalo chicken tenders, fries and broccoli and cheese casserole. They also have a really good peach pie. Service is ok, food is good nothing to great. It is truly your typical Friday’s type restaurant… it’s right up the street so no complaints

OK Spoiler alert! My review was swayed because it was FREEPIEWEDNESDAY! No really it was LOL My first impression was that the service was rather on the slow and inattentive side. Our server always seem to have something better to do not sure what was going on but it was a bit annoying as I would’ve liked to have a fresh napkin but he never returned until time to ask which pie we wanted. I ordered the bacon cheddar quesadilla and loaded potato soup combo for lunch. So the quesadilla was a 6 inch flour tortilla very tasty with a salsa that gave it a nice little zippy bite just rather small even for a lunch portion. There was a small dipper of salsa and exactly 11 chips on the plate and a small cup of soup that held probably a slight half cup of soup. Fortunately there were those delicious unslicable rolls on the table. Overall poor service and small portion size garners a 2 star rating for me. I would’ve rated higher had service been better.

Service SLOW. Staff rude. I believe that they’re always under staffed. Which ads to the frustration for the staff that is on duty. It always seems like the minute you are done with your dinner they are trying to rush you out the door. Had order a draft beer and it was bad. Told bartender and he was rude, told me that it was fine and didn’t offer me anothet brand. Food good, staff not so much.

What you come to expect from an ocharleys Great menu options, consistent service, quality food, for a fair price. This location is always packed, so I question the subpar ratings.

Stopped in here on a Sunday night and was quickly seated. We’ve been to many other O’Charleys in the area, but something was missing from this location. Not too sure what it was. We sat in the booth area by the bar and we were waited on quickly. The waitress we had must of been overwhelmed that night because she kept asking us over and over about bringing us more rolls — we werent even finished with the first basket they brought us. She had our drink order backwards — but did a good job overall.

The food is good, however the service sucks. I’ve had way too many bad experiences here that have outweighed the good experiences.

Not too much to say. My friend insisted on treating me to a steak. I asked for it to be pink inside and they messed it up the first time. No big deal though. I guess this place just reminds me of an Applebee’s or Chili’s which is basically what it is. Don’t get me wrong I enjoy the family type restaurant it’s just nothing special.

Big signs in the windows bragging about their signature salads. I was in the mood for something healthy for lunch so I thought I’d give it a shot. Unfortunatey, the salad choices were not the least bit inventive and almost all had meat toppings. I ended up eating something that was okay but certainly not memorable, since I can’t remember what it was. The service was fine. The food was just food.

Nothing fancy. Just like every other regular resturant chain. Decent Americanized food. I liked the grilled cheese with tomato and bacon.
