the terrible reviews on here are puzzling to me. my dog and I received great
service. perhaps they have made some needed corrections.
a few weeks ago, my dog was rushed into their facility for a sudden, puzzling neurological issue. the staff was attentive and responsive. they got him stabilized quickly though the prognosis was not looking good. I needed to run home in the meantime. during my absence, he started looking much better. they contacted me with the good news because they knew I’d want to hear asap.
once I returned, they kindly let me stay with my dog all night. when I ran out to get something to eat, they even heated it up for me. they gave us a pile of blankets to lay on and were just so kind and attentive.
at every diagnostic step, a vet came in to speak to me and helped me weigh the options. they brought me estimates for everything before I was billed so there were no surprises.
they correctly diagnosed my dog boy with a rare pancreatic cancer. during his treatment at home, they called to check up on him. there was no hesitation with answering all of my phone calls and emails. they were great and helped me through a really difficult time. I ended up there on recommendation of my dog’s regular vet. I, too, would recommend them.

Yesterday, I spoke with a Unilocaler who has not been to this facility, but contacted Lovette concerning her comments directed at Cristopher G. That user contacted Cris and Lovette, and Cris provided him with documentation supporting his claims. When the 3^rd party contacted Lovette, she refused to provide any proof, documentation, or any explanation of any of her claims and blocked him. Given my experience, and what Cris went through, and Lovettes refusal to support any of her claims, it is safe to assume Cris assessment of the facility, the doctors, the owner, and Lovette are entirely accurate.
Oh, and that same user emailed Ash W. and Terrilyn S multiple times with no response from either. In fact, Terrilyn S only has 2 reviews in central Ohio, 2 vets owned by the same guy, obvious fake reviews.
While I am sure this facility has helped many pet owners, they wont stand up when they drop the ball, and will go to extreme efforts to remove the focus from their mistakes by tearing down people.
Nothing more than a money mill ran by truly disgusting people.

In response to Lovette Aquinos last comment, Ms. Aquino’s is obviously still misinformed to the FACTS of the matter. My statements pertaining to the incompetence and the subsequent lies fabricated from the staff, including the owner, Alec Land, are documented, and true.
Further, my «condition» (what ever that means) and how my dog came to arrive at this terrible facility, are frankly, none of their business. It is just another immature and unprofessional attempt to mis-​direct the focus from their lies and incompetence. I stand by EVERYTHING I have said, and am prepared to prove it if need be.
Ms. Aquino is however correct that her and I have never met or spoke. Ms. Aquino… in another act of immaturity and unprofessionalism, refused my eight calls after my pets death. She is also correct that I have never threatened her, however, she HAS threatened me with legal action, and I have the documentation to prove it, saved and certified by Unilocal.
Ms. Aquino is also a liar. I NEVER stated, said, inferred, or suggested that I have, or will see her, or her children in a public place. This is a blatant lie and I plan on taking further action to this gross fabrication.
Ms. Aquino can attempt to attack my character all she wants… she has already clearly demonstrated what caliber of person she really is. I would also like to thank Ms. Aquino, for coming on here and showing «the apple does not fall far from the tree». If the owner, doctors, and staff are incompetent liars, its no surprise the office staff are too.
Its actually sad… sad there are these types of people in our world, who have no regard or understanding about the love one can have for their pet, while all the time, masquerading in the «animal care» business, and this latest comment from Ms. Aquino proves it.

My dog was run over by a delivery truck in our driveway. Her paw was crushed. The driver, to his credit, helped me find an emergency vet, where I rushed my dog for treatment. I was panicky because she was bleeding badly and I couldn’t keep her contained. After making a wrong turn and missing the place, I called and was expertly directed back to the clinic, all the while, they stayed on the phone with me. Then seeing me pull up, a man rushed forward to help little ol’ me carry my 58 lb dog inside. They saw her immediately because of the bleeding. Dr Krase was on the case. She was calm and professional, and so sympathetic to my circumstances. She assured me that my dog would be ok, even with the blood loss. Dr Krase was technically «off» but stayed over on he town time to operate on my dog. The surgery was successful in that they didn’t have to amputate the leg (at least not at this time) and the next morning when I picked up my dog, I was given excellent instructions for follow up care. I asked the staff for a veterinarian because I am brand new to Ohio, and they gave me a list of vets near my home.
My dog recovered from surgery and I picked her up the next morning. Even though she was busy, Dr Krase took the time to talk to me in person about the surgery, what she found, and what the follow up would entail. She didn’t know if the leg could be saved, but was at least willing to try. I left the emergency vet feeling very confident that my dog had been given excellent care.
The facility is spotless and odorless. The staff was friendly, even at that hour of the night. The décor is cheerful and bright, and there is a comfortable waiting area for the family. At no time did I feel rushed, patronized nor disregarded. My anxiety was handled with tact and compassion. Its clear that the staff is well trained and take their jobs seriously.
Quite honestly, I don’t remember what the total cost was. It was up there, but let’s face it: This is an emergency clinic. It was a dire emergency that needed treatment immediately. This clinic rose to the occasion with aplomb. I just cannot say enough about the events that saved my dog. They scrambled to help her. They saved her leg. They followed up. They were kind, quick and professional. I was totally satisfied with how my dog and I were treated.
I highly recommend this place. I am not sure why some other reviewers (Christopher G in particular) take such pleasure in condemning a place without including all the facts. For instance, if he was so unhappy the first time he went there, why did he return months later? To trash them again? Puh-​leez. But hey, that is not my fight. I can only tell you about my experience: A person brand new to the Columbus area, who was treated with respect, professionalism and tremendous emergency skill. My dog is alive and doing well, ONLY because of this place. And that is worth more to me than silver or gold.

Our one male cat, Baxter, was limping on his back left leg for the last few days, thus we thought we’d better get him looked at. The regular Vet had no openings for today, so we were advised to bring him here. This facility is open 24/​7, so we headed right over.
As we came in the front door, a very polite, friendly female greeted us and took us straight to a room. She gave us a few papers to fill out and informed us that the doctor would be in shortly.
We didn’t have to wait long at all. Dr. Hughes and his vet tech came on in, introduced themselves, and asked what brought us. After telling them the symptoms, they did a thorough check of Baxter: Eyes; heart beat; teeth; and, most importantly, his legs and back hips. It was decided that Baxter needed an X-​ray first. We signed the consent forms and off they took him.
We had to wait about 30 minutes for the anesthesia to kick in and the images to be captured. They then brought us back and Dr. Hughes explained what we were looking at and the prognosis: Knee surgery.
We where given thorough information on the doctor that would do the surgery. And Baxter was brought out of sedation in good timing. We were at the Center for a total of 2 hours. I’m very happy with Dr. Hughes and his attention to detail (we were showed pics of the knee/​ligaments via a book, so we could have a better idea of what he was talking about — good thinking!)!

We only used this clinic because it was Sunday and our normal doctor was not in, but we had taken her there only 4 days before and he had told us that if the medication he gave us did not work nothing else could be done. She was in extreme pain and could not stand. We had sold our house and had a 3 day trip to our new location and did not want to put our sweet baby through any more agony. Dr. Damian Giancola at Dily Hill said he disagreed with our doctor and that the dog had a slipped disc (which he determined without even an x-​ray) and with the proper medication the dog could recover in three to four day. We bought into the false hope because we loved our pet so much. $ 400 later we walked out with a bag of medicine. Dr. Giancola is either a quack or the most inhumane person in the world because our poor baby went through 3 days of hell. She was in so much and she couldn’t stand, we had to hold her up to urinate. By the third day she was so sick she couldn’t even hold down a sip of water. We drove for 12 straight hours so we could get her into someone who could end her suffering. It was so horrible what she had to go through and she was just to good and sweet, she didn’t deserve that. I would not recommend this clinic to my worst enemy.

I took my dog into this hospital late last night with blood in her stool and she had been throwing up. My usual vet at banfield was closed so I took her here because I was scared she would not make it through the night. All in all yes they did treat her and she is fine. But beware its not a cheap trip here to take your pet. My final bill was $ 606 so plan on paying alot out of your pocket.

We had a weekend emergency of our puppy (most likely) eating a toxic substance and having a bad reaction.
The staff here was friendly and professional, timely and caring. They gave us great paperwork reporting what had been done, and even a copy of the xrays on CD.
The building and facilities seem to be brand new. Even though we live in far east Columbus, it’s still right off the highway just a few exits down 33.
My only complaint would be the price. Our emergency visit racked up around $ 675 for exam, xrays, testing, re-​hydration and medications, but it probably would have been better if we had pet insurance, which we are considering now. Sometimes the peace-​of-​mind is worth the premium cost.
Our dog is recovering well on the course of treatment we received, and they have sent all the info to our regular vet for followup treatment.

One of my male cats had some blood in his urine and I was, to put it mildly, freaking out. My boyfriend called this place while we were figuring out what to do next and the doctor personally took his call and told us to bring the cat in. We packed up the kitty and hit the road, arriving about 45 minutes later. This place was very clean and bright and smelled awesome. Not the first thing I’d expect from an animal hospital. We were greeted right away by a very friendly staff member (especially when you consider it was 1am). I answered some quick questions and filled out just two simple pages of paperwork while he was looked at in the back. The doctor came out and spoke with us about 15 minutes later– explaining very thoroughly his assessment of the situation, causes, treatments, and how to best proceed. We were then given the choice of which treatments we wanted to go ahead with that night and instructions. We were out of the center in less than an hour, and had the kitty back home and on antibiotics and pain medication by 2am.
I would recommend this place to anyone, especially considering it’s a ²⁴⁄₇ facility. My boyfriend and I were both very impressed with the service and the facility.
