Believe the reviews! Found this adorable little place while searching for a lunch place along route 90. We both got the potato soup special, which was awesome and piping hot. His turkey club and my Greek salad were both super fresh and definitely had that homemade taste. Easy on and off the highway and a super friendly staff. Check it out if you are in this area!

What a hidden gem on Church Street in Canajoharie, right off the New York State Thruway! I found this place through Unilocal.Charming, beautifully decorated, great parking out back. I had french toast made with Heidelberg bread and applewood bacon. Delicious! I took a picture, but unfortunately something went wrong, which is a shame because it looked as good as it tasted. Definitely make this part of your day if you’re passing through the area or if you live in the area and are looking for a new hidden gem.

Great place for lunch. Large fresh sandwiches and great soups. Parking in the back. Think Panera bread type menu except this place uses Heidelberg bread and is really fresh and local.

Cute café right off the I-90 in a cute little town. Had a delicious lunch of sandwiches, salad & soup followed by a really delicious brownie! My kids loved it and i loved feeling like we ate a real meal and not some fast food crap. Service just added to the experience. Wonderful waitress who made us feel so comfortable. My kids demanded i leave a positive review as soon as we were done eating!

Very charming little place right off of the highway. We just happened to take the exit to try to find some breakfast and was pleasantly surprised! Bagelwich and French toast were both great and scratch made. The only thing I wish I had was a latte or cappuccino, but the machine was malfunctioning when we were there. If you happen to find yourself in that town it is definitely worth a stop!

A state police officer helped us find this place to eat when we pulled off the interstate. Love the whole village atmosphere. Nice little restaurant and friendly staff. Décor is old, but feels new too. Very clean and simple menu with great food.

Fantastic food and friendly people. The French Toast was crunchy with a hint of cinnamon in the batter. Crispy bacon. Seasonal fruit was ripe, fresh and refreshing. Excellent coffee! All in all it was a yummy delicious breakfast.

This place is wonderful, warm, genuine, and my favorite place to eat in Canajoharie. Some light service kinks and execution slips are not even close to be worth knocking a star off. Sure, getting lettuce into manageable sizes is important to a salad, but the pure unbelievable quality and freshness and at-home-iness more than accounted for it.

Inexpensive, tasty, comfortable, easy to get to off the Thruway. Sandwiches, soup, quiche du jour.

I pulled off the Thruway to get a bite to eat at lunch time. This was an amazing find. A police officer ended up pointing me towards the Twilight Gardens restaurant in Canajoharie. Let’s just say its a perfect lunch spot. Located in an old building on one of the main streets running through the village, the ceiling is high and the ambiance is refreshed(for some reason I liken it to a vera bradley bag… please note that I am a guy with limited vera bradely knowledge). Essentially, its a fresh sandwich(not subs) and soup kind of place. The specialty, however, are the quiches. I strongly recommend a visit to Twilight Gardens.

This new café and boutique used to be the Elephant Bistro. Beautiful space with a long bar and a small boutique in the back. Coffee and pastries were very good and service was friendly and fast.
