Excellent stay, beautiful views. food is delicious and the owners are a great pleasure. Also, there is definitely some paranormal activity going on. The owner confirmed it but I wasn’t able to stay longer to hear all the stories.

My husband and I had our wedding here. Marty and Gail are wonderful people with a passion for what they do. The rod are cozy and the food is excellent. Loved my waitress Kendra and have been back a couple times since the wedding last year. Will be back for dinner soon! Only about two hours from PHL.

For the most part, I like this place. It’s got some good points and some not so good points. Let’s start with the positives: It’s centrally located and close to everything. The innkeepers are personable. It’s a comfortable, quaint place. The inn is affordable, the rooms are attractively furnished, with bathrooms, a mini fridge, television and a small basket of snacks. The breakfast is abundant. What’s not to love. you might think? For starters, it took us FOREVER to find this B&B. A portion of their road is blocked and even though there are signs that guide you to their property, our navigational satellite wasn’t in on the planning of this and took us round and round. Although the breakfasts were abundant, the scrambled eggs were over cooked, the grits were laden with cheese and butter and the fried, stuffed French toast — simply, overkill for, even with those who have a sweet tooth. On the bright side, I enjoyed our Belgium waffles and I’m craving one right now — crisp and tender, served with homemade whipped cream. Lastly, the condition of one of the cats on their property, saddened us the most and I’m hoping one of the several retailers we stopped at, on our way home — rescued this animal. A beautiful loving cat, with sad green eyes and a back covered in mange. This cat seemed so sad, yet so loving and too see it uncared for was appalling. A lovely B&B, made not so — due to the negligence of a cat.

We stayed here for 3 nights a weekend in July. I personally found it quite quaint and relaxing. The owners Marty and Gaile are very friendly and hospitable. The Manor is large with 3 attic rooms and 4 second floor rooms. We were in room 5 nice sized bathroom, couch, queen bed, and flat screen TV. This was my first time staying at a bed and breakfast and I loved the cozy atmosphere. Each room has a cozy country feel. I went snooping around the other rooms since everyone else checked out a day earlier than us. The two best rooms are 4 and 1. #4 has king sized bed and two lounge chairs and a tv in a separate side room. #1 has a queen bed a separate sun room, an addition room with a daybed and a huge bathroom. All rooms have their own bathrooms, except #6 which has it’s own designated bathroom, but it’ across the hall. The food at their restaurant My Daughters Place is EXCELLENT! I loved the property and the grounds and the 3 cats. The ONLY reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because of lack of amenities. and when I say amenities I don’t mean pool or gym. I mean coffee. I need my coffee. On Sunday we were the only guests so we had the entire house to ourselves; which was nice, but it would have been a lot nicer to have coffee or tea available to us instead of having to drive to the nearest gas station. A communal microwave would have been nice also. There are refrigerators in the rooms, but no microwaves.

I stayed here with my girlfriend for three nights and we just loved it! The food was great, especially considering its in the middle of the PA mountains. We both kept on commenting on how relaxed we felt during our stay. It was an great place to decompress. We ended up also checking out some local spots and we had great experiences with the food and the people. This is an experience you will always remember and I would highly recommend!

Spent a winter weekend getaway here. Cozy, romantic place with lots of character. The adjoining bar/restaurant was delicious. The owner, Marty, is a fun guy who knows how to cook and made you feel right at home. 20 minutes from Camelback Ski resort(and even closer to Alpine), this place was perfect for our short escape from NYC. Next time though, we’ll get a room with a fireplace! :)
