Starbucks

We close at 8pm daily.

Inside Safeway. Got a Soy Chai Tea Latte. It had consistent taste with other Chai’s I’ve had at Starbucks. Friendly service and they accepted my Starbucks card app here for payment. Gotta love that.

This Starbucks is run by Safeway employees who really don’t know much about their products. Lame-​O. Came by with a Starbucks coupon and they didn’t honor it like most Starbucks stores. Never coming here again for any drinks. Lines are always long here when I walk in, so I just end up turning around from where I came from.
At least, 7 – 11 is across the street…

This Starbucks is not my favorite. Unfortunately it is close to my work and therefore the best option. There are 2 great workers I see occasionally who are always friendly and working their butts off. Once is a younger gentleman and the other a younger female. The line is often long, but there is only one espresso machine so there really isn’t much they can do about that.
One morning I walked up to the register and the woman there just sorta looked at me… then said hi. I said hi and she just stared at me. She didn’t ask me what I wanted or if she could help me. Just stared. Unitl I finally just started giving her my order.
My usual is a triple grande zebra mocha. That same morning it was made with 3 pumps of mocha AND 3 pumps of white mocha! It was so sweet I got to work and mixed it with water. From now on I ask for 2 pumps of each and they look at me like I’m crazy beause «That’s how it’s made»…which I am aware of, I worked at a starbucks for a few years, but I’m afraid if I don’t specify I’m gonna get another one of those drinks and loose all of my teeth.
Besides that incident and that one employee, it is alright. Just kinda hit or miss for a quick coffee. It is kinda convenient that it’s in a Safeway because if the line is too long I’ll just get an energy drink instead.

I am a Starbucks addict! I have to get my dark coffee every day from this Starbucks which is across the street from where I work. I really like how nice and quick the staff are here at this Starbucks. They know me by name and they already know what I want before I walk in. One thing that I’m not too crazy about this Starbucks in the sitting area. It’s very small! Overall I’d give them a 4 star.

This particular Starbucks is located inside the Safeway. When I walked in, there was one friendly, busy worker at the cart. She took my order a short time later and was upbeat and nice the whole time. I’ve had several levels of quality when it comes to Starbucks drinks. Ranging from terrible to amazing. I would say that this one rated about an average to good rating. What I will say, was that it was convenient to be able to get my drink and shopping together since I was feeling under the weather and did not have the energy to go to more then once place.

Yes, I know it’s *just* Starbucks…
But how can I write it off when it’s the reason I’m able to stay awake on some mornings, focus on projects during others, and just generally snap me out of sleep mode at work? Oh and how could I forget: I need some sort of caffeine or I’ll likely get a really annoying headache later in the day.
There are several Starbucks near my work (as I’m sure there are several near yours), however, this one is special.
I can scurry inside Safeway (where the little Starbucks is located) at ten to eight in the morning and there won’t be more than two people in line. I’m greeted with a smile and friendly chit-​chat as my «grande, iced, non-​fat white mocha (two pumps only, no whip)» is poured and stirred. It’s a nice start to any morning and I’m rarely waiting more than 5 minutes for my drink.
Then it’s off to work I go.
Oh and just FYI: They have less pastry options than other Starbucks, since they’re a stand, and they can’t accept tips (this is what I was told) since they’re Starbucks-​trained Safeway employees – which makes the fact that they’re so friendly even cooler.
