Maybe it’s my fault. I did show up at 3 pm for lunch. The person behind the counter was friendly, good sign. My friend and I each I ordered a portobello mushroom burger with fries. Out came some sad little sandwiches and cold French fries. It’s hard to mess up a mushroom, isn’t it? My friend’s mushroom was dry, as was the feta cheese that topped it(I know, feta is already dry, but this was dr-y-y). Mine was ok, and the bit of grilled red pepper was fine, so kudos to the prep cook I guess for that. Serving us dead French fries from the lunch rush three hours before was uncool. And can a bitch get a piece of lettuce or something to make it look like you tried to make the food appetizing? This was so lame. So very, very lame.

Went to Sonoma Chicken Coop, and ordered a Garlic Chicken Alfredo without tomatoes and mushrooms. The sauce was thin and watery. Barely any garlic flavor to the dish. The chicken looked and tasted as if it was from a can rather than rotisserie styled. It had the consistency of canned white albacore tuna. Will not order this again. Do not recommend. My friend ordered the Cheesy Chicken and Avocado Sandwich, it was delicious. The side of chips were stale and unappetizing. Why serve inedible food? Just don’t serve the chips at all, unless made fresh. Today, the highlight was my Cherry Vanilla Coke. It was sadly, the best part of my dinner. Maybe next time, I’ll get a salad.

What can I say? It’s a typical sports bar. Is it suppose to be a family restaurant? It’s noisy as heck all the time and chaotic. The quality of the food has gone down the pothole. They’ve also removed the fisherman’s net(the only reason why I came)…Go to Aqui’s next door.

For a self serve style restaurant, I really enjoy this place. You walk up to ordering counter and order food /wine /soda etc. You are given a buzzer to advise you to pick up your food at the designated pickup counter. Large seating area that is not stuffy and you can enjoy a meal with friends or family. They always have the specials of the day on display to include the desserts. The food is always decent quality and great tasting. This place is very similar to Aqui. I like grabbing a table near the bar area but in front of the TV sets during Monday Night Football.

This place is located at the corner of Campbell drive and Second street. We were here for the week for business. We stopped by for a drink and found out that they had live music and a full– bar. It was a on Friday night and we started dancing and didn’t stop! It was very causal and inviting, Next time we are in town we will be back!

Great location for hosting paint nite! Brought my girlfriend here for a Valentine painting session it was awesome! These type of events usually have full attendance so that makes it even better since you’d be able to socialize and mingle with a variety of people and groups from different backgrounds. Drinks here were SUPER cheap during Happy Hour. I got TWO beers, one Stone IPA on tap and another Angry Orchard for my gf, for only 5.50. Gives you a good little buzz before you paint so it kinda stems your creativity ;) Although, the bartender could’ve been a little more engaging and active with the customers.

My rating is based on coming here during lunch on a weekday I ordered the ¼ lb of white meat rotisserie chicken with a side of salad. The chicken was tasty and juicy for white meat, and the dressing on the salad was good. My food came out quickly, but my coworker ended up waiting a long time a meatball sandwich, even though there wasn’t a lot of people in the restaurant. There was a woman(probably the manager/owner) helping to get the orders ready to go, with attention to detail(i.e. wiping up the containers before putting them in a to-go bag), which I appreciated. It was pretty expensive for the portions though(12 bucks?), so I’m not sure I’ll be back, but definitely willing to check this place out before a Sharks game next time!

Fantastically overpriced college dorm room food. Actually worse than college dorm food. I had the tri tip sandwich and my boyfriend had the roasted chicken and walnut salad. First, mine. The tri tip sandwich with mozerella and peppcorn sauce. Yeah, peppcorn… sure. I found 3 of them in the whole sandwich. I’ve never experienced a sandwich that tasted more like nothing. It didn’t even taste like meat really. The salad. Not only did it taste more like tuna than chicken, but the pieces of chicken were full of fat and tendon. Bleck! For $ 40, I would expect more than McDonalds quality food. Sonoma Chicken Coop. Blacklisted. AVOIDATALLCOST.

Despite the name, this restaurant offers plenty of non-chicken options, like burgers and pizzas. But most of the menu features chicken, like rotisserie, chicken sandwiches, chicken salads, and chicken pastas. You order at the counter and they give you one of those buzzer square things that lights up and vibrates when your order is ready. When it is ready, but go up to the counter to pick up your food. I generally order a salad when I’m at any Sonoma Chicken Coop. The apple harvest salad is a pretty healthy option. You can add chicken to it if you want but it costs extra. Appetizer wise, the loaded tater tots are tasty(but not healthy), the calamari and the buffalo wings are not bad. The space is big so it’s great for large groups. It’s a good option for getting a quick lunch or dinner. The food’s fine but not like amazing. They have a location on Skyport in San Jose and a location in downtown SJ.

This was the main establishment we frequented bc of the live band and the Oktoberfest festivities. It was actually pretty crazy and didn’t realized it until after the fact! But oh well we made the best of it! Luckily we were able to grab some food, water and a table to sit down in the back. The restaurant was packed to the hilt and so were the bathrooms. We managed but will know better next time. Food was okay. Nothing too memorable that I would have to urgently make a long trip to drive back for it! Will we come back? Not for the same weekend! They also had an arts and crafts fair to check out for a couple blocks long which is my thing but there were obvious people drunk too as if we were in another fraternity college town Parteeing!!! Got my drift? Lol.

Good beer on tap! I liked the IPA and the Kölsch. The food looked delicious — buffalo wings, and there was a half-chicken that looked amazing. I’d eat here before going to the sushi spot down the street. That was a mistake! They have a bunch of TVs, and no WiFi — which I thought was pretty great. What a revolutionary idea that people should talk instead of play on their phones. The only complaing I have is that I couldn’t find the door to get in… although it may have been because I wasn’t paying attention.

Great food? Are you kidding? Had the salmon with the risotto. Salmon portion was okay but very dry, and that stuff they call risotto, yuck. Sour tasting and loaded with chunks of yesterdays left over vegetables. And $ 27.00 for a bottle of Menage a Trois that sells for $ 7.99 at the local market? This is Campbell, not Saratoga. Dirty, sticky wooden tables and the bench seat in the dining room is torn and falling apart. Get a new manager… quick or better yet, sell the place to someone that cares.

Great food here. Standard American fare, chicken, hamburgers, buffalo wings, pasta, etc. Great for watching football on Sundays. Multiple TV’s that play each game so fans can sit close to watch their team play and during commercials you can watch other games. Mimosa special is $ 12 for bottle of Champagne with caraf of OJ. Normally they have a raffle during halftime for gift cards and free drinks. Recommend CC for game day.

Do you often speculate, why is it called Sonoma Chicken Coop in Santa Clara County? Nevertheless, I had a couple of the Sonoma Chicken Coop restaurants bookmarked for a while. But the Campbell location was not one of them. And since I was in the beautiful city of Campbell, why not? The huge venue shares with the Campbell Brewery. You can eat your meal anywhere in the facility. The restaurant cooks just about anything, but specializes in cooking rotisserie chicken… obviously! As I walked in, I saw a couple of specials posted on the chalkboard. One of the specials caught my attention. Therefore I ordered the BBQ trio. I placed my order at the cashier and she gave me a buzzer. The restaurant also sells beers, but a couple of domestic beers. I grabbed my $ 5.00 Coors light. After a ten minute wait, I got my meal platter. For $ 14.99, I get grilled chicken breast, a 4oz rib eye steak, a small slab of pork ribs, fries, a scoop of potato salad and a grilled ear of corn. Normally chicken pieces are dry. But here was very moist with a nice smoky flavor. The other items from this huge meal were decent. Besides I did not expect the ribs would be a just as good as Phil’s BBQ. My meal: My only excitement from this visit is that the city of Campbell was 85 degrees. I was buzzed after that one weak bottle of Coors Light and had to wait before I can drive. After my below-par meal, I am not quite sure if I am willing to check out the other locations in San Jose.

Loved the food, ambience and customer service! Ordered half chicken with mashed potatoes and fried calamari for starters. Mashed potatoes were not the best. Calamari was perfect perfect perfect! Chicken with lemon vinegarette was super yummy.

Great location! Good service! Good food. Certain days there are live music! This place is good for hanging out or for family attires. We ordered –pizza: great and crispy! — fish and chips: batter was a bit soft but the fish and well done fries were good — calamari: very good — garlic Parmesan pasta: it was ok, too bland — forgot what it was called but something with wine sauce for the pasta: very good! — chicken breast: very juicy and good Overall good place !

Not a big fan of this place. The food was disappointing, the chicken taco salad was marginal at best. The pizza was extremely disappointing. The dough, the sauce, and the topping all were very bland and flavorless. The pitcher of beer for $ 15 was a little bit of a saving grace, but not enough to go back.

This place is OOOOK. I like the whole concept about ordering at the front and picking up when ready method. Oh, and plus, you get to seat yourself wherever you want! Unfortunately though, my chicken marsala and my pesto pasta thing was cold… and I mean cold to the bone. Lol. And my beer was so bland… whyyyy?! :( I guess the live music makes up for everything else lol

Go anywhere else. Come here if you like bland beer and mini golf concession stand-level food. Their beer sucks and makes Coors taste like a craft beer. $ 10 nachos had minimal toppings and pour-over nacho cheese from a can(was expecting cheese melted in an oven instead of this orange liquid). Fries and fish and chips were soggy and tasted like they were microwaved. The worst place in the worst city in the South Bay. Campbell, you have truly outdone yourself this time.

This location is really nice. It’s in downtown Campbell and has it’s own parking garage(shared with another restaurant) with a back entrance into the restaurant. They also have some spots right in front of the restaurant, but those are usually difficult to get and there’s only a couple of spots that you have to parallel park into. There’s two floors for seating and outdoor seating as well. It’s a really pretty location compared to the one closer to my house. The food is nothing too special. I usually stick to my favorite dish– lime grilled chicken. The chicken is always a little overcooked and the green beans aren’t always cooked just right, but I really love the sauce in the rice. I know it’s super buttery and not good for you, but sometimes I just crave that sauce and rice! I thought that they usually give you a pizza slice with your entrée, but I didn’t get one the last time I was here. I’ve also tried ordering my food online before, but when I got into the restaurant they told me that the online ordering system doesn’t work(why the heck do they have it then??). So if you’re trying to get some food to-go, you should definitely call in! Even though they rushed my order that time, it still took about 10 minutes to get my food.(It took the same amount of time the second time I went in and ordered the food in person lol).

Had a wonderful experience with their catering especially since we planned our party last minute: like the day before, last minute. Management was courteous and totally accommodating. The food was just what we expected and more as we had enough for our party along with some to take home. Remarkable. Happy tummies into the week sounds good to me. Our party was placed in a closed off dining area which was private and allowed us to play our own music while we dined without anybody bothering us about the type or volume of our beats. That’s the business. Definitely consider your party needs here. They can totally accommodate for guests of all sizes, up to 75, maybe even 100? I’d double check that one. Great service, food and experience! Thanks Sonoma Chicken Coop
