Robert Fettgather & Associates

Fettgather is responsible for much turmoil in my life. I’m a divorced father of three, and after the divorce I was the primary single parent. I did EVERYTHING with and for my kids. I Cooked their meals, took care of them, coached several teams, including the Dartmouth x-​ctry team for many years. My X and I had a healthy relationship which was great for the kids, until Fettgather turned her against me. She’s got very very deep pockets, and than she turned Fettgather against me, and he refused to see me. Because of he’s hurtful, damaging counseling I currently am COMPLETELY estranged from me three kids. They don’t return texts or calls, going on two years now. When I first started seeing Fettgather, he began the «Hate your father, he’s responsible for everything bad in your life!» therapy. I never bought into that horrible therapy, I took responsibility for my own actions, and I’m my own person. But between an Ex wife who hasn’t spoke to me for 13 years (which is very hurtful to my kids), and a therapist who «went after the deep pockets $$,» well let’s just say I’m devastated, and even though i know that fettgather has immense talent and gifts, in my case it WAS NOT USED in a way that’s beneficial to anyone, except his bottom $$$ line :(

I have great respect for the highly professional and motivating Dr. Bob Fettgather. He is the best therapist I have ever been to… and, I have gone to several over the past decade. My (now grown) son had severe ADHD and learning disabilities and was depressed and needed help motivating him to get through high school after he had just about given up. Dr. Bob helped my son to navigate the social minefields he was facing and motivated him with acceptance and positivity to find it in himself to turn his attitude towards school around and graduate. He is now away at college and doing very well. I know Dr. Bob played a big role in his success.
Dr. Bob is also the best marriage counselor I have ever been to. He is able to look at a couple’s problems and without picking on a particular person he can motivate each person to see their own role in marital problems clearly. You want to do your best because Dr. Bob is so positive and he believes in each person who walks through his doors. He is uplifting, intelligent, intuitive, empathetic and motivating and I have referred several friends to him. I cannot say enough how thankful I am that my family and I successfully navigated tough times with Dr. Bob by our side.

Dr Robert Fettgather has seen myself and my spouse. He has also seen my children. He has given us family counseling and individual and child counseling. He has done amazing things for our family and our mental health. I do not trust people, especially psychologists, very easily. He and his associates are 100% trustworthy in my opinion. After my divorce over 10 years ago, my children and I had been put through hell by my ex. My current partner got to experience some of this and due to latent issues we seeked out the help of professional counselors. Dr Bob and his associates have been an amazing help to us and we have seen vast improvements in our children’s mental health and their ability to express and deal with their emotions. I can not say enough good things about this wonderful man. He truly cares for each person he treats and is a rock of sanity in an insane world.
