John is amazing. He’s personable and made me feel very comfortable right from the beginning. I was so worried about being pushed past the brinking point but he knows just how to judge my capability and challenges me at the same time. If you are looking to get an amazing workout with fantastic form, John is he man for the job! His detailed attention to form is probably one of the strongest and most useful tools he offers to take your workouts to the next level. John has helped me gain strength in areas I didn’t think possible. If we come across some new challenges in my strength and ability, he finds ways to get me on track. He is constantly researching, taking classes and attending seminars to keep up with the latest information on fitness and health. I love that I can actually see the change in my body and my abilities. John always keeps me motivated and most importantly, he doesn’t allow me to give up. A real life story with real life results. First let me start off by saying I have never been one to steadily work out and challenge myself to strive to another level for fitness, This 2015 New Year I had reached my point of «Nothings going to change if I don’t make it change.» I have always had a fuller, thicker body type; my arms have always been my worst enemy and my butt has never been where I wanted it unless I was wearing spanx! I researched classes, gyms, surgeons(Yes! that serious about changing) and finally came to conclusion a personal trainer would give me no choice but to work out, push myself, and try and do work outs that would have no choice BUT to transform my body… That is how I found John. Let me start by saying I love the open facility. All trainers work one on one with there clients and the facility is for that purpose only. No extras and dead space for unmotivated people! It is well kept, equipment up to date, mirrors, air ventilation, clean towels, water, and 2 restrooms with a shower. Everyone respects each others space and people work around each other in this friendly environment. Seeing the same people weekly becomes fun, motivating, and you become friends with others. I started working out with John March 2, 2015. I was currently floating around between 160 – 155 on a good day. For the first month I would work out twice a week with John and he was always about strength conditioning, showing me how to effectively and properly do the movements, and giving me tips on a healthy diet. Diet tips and new recipes never hurt in this process! My second month I stepped it up to 3 times a week. It felt like a slow start but all in all I am glad I trusted John because he knows how to build your workouts up and he knows how to effectively progress the weights and different areas of focus. The best part about his training is that he will not make you run a treadmill or JUST do cardio period. What I love is the way he interprets cardio with weight training and you don’t even know! I am on my 4th month now and since then I currently dropped over 10 pounds, gained muscle, and have seen major changes in my arms and legs. My butt has lifted, my arms have went down dramatically and my legs have never been so solid. I am still a work in progress but its definitely in the right direction. I have never felt this good about my body. I still have a ways to go with my GOAL weight and body type but I am 100 percent positive continuing this fit journey will get me there by the end of the year. He makes work out fun and effective. He has coached and pushed me to a level where I WANT to work out and I am exited to see what’s on the agenda. John has transformed my body and my mindset on this new lifestyle. I respect the fact that he teaches you the correct form and does not just have you doing ineffective motions. I HIGHLEY recommend John to begin or continue a fit and affective life style change! I will definitely be writing back at the end of the year with an awesome update and major results! Thanks John!

an update! ive been training with John consisently now for five months, and still hitting personal records on a weekly basis,(lbs lifted), the training he has constructed for me has also now been effectively carried over into my other sport, boxing. like I said, im 42, I never thought id feel this good in my forties. John has been excellent at helping me reach my specific goals with encouragment, knowledge, and the ability to keep it challenging, interesting, and dare I say fun! hes a great coach and trainer for those looking to compete, get healthier, rehabilitate, or simply look better. thanks John!

Do you feel sluggish, out of shape and just not pleased with your overall well being then I suggest working out with John. I remember my first week after not working out for many years and being over 40 mother of 3. John took the time to ease me into the program and helping my body adapt to the new régime. AT the end of 3 weeks I could do unassisted lunges, squats, planks and sprint with the 20 year olds. He is interested in your inner and out well being. Whether you are an acomplished athlete or newby I highly recommend starting the new year with a great trainer.

Let me start by telling you a little background… I never worked out a day in my life until I was about 23, at which point I became an addict! I started at a small bootcamp that a friend of mine ran. We did a ton of circuit training that got my overall fitness level up. From there I started training kickboxing and jiu jitsu. I then decided to try insanity which completely kicked my butt! After doing all of those intensive workouts, I decided to give weight training a try. I was always worried that weight training would make me bulk up and I would look like the female version of Arnold Schwarzenegger. John assured me that weight training would in all actuality help me to be more lean but maintain my femininity. He was right!!! I had a contest with some friends on who could lose the most body fat percentage in 2 months. With John’s fitness training and nutrition guidance, I went from 23% body fat to 17% body fat in less than 2 months. Not only did I win the contest but I gained strength, leaned out, gained energy, and kept my feminine figure. I highly recommend to try out Renewyourself Fitness!

John is an awesome Trainer! While training with him over the last year, I’ve become a lot stronger and confidant. John offers a variety of workouts: kettle-bells, sled work, weight training with the bar, sledged hammer with the tire & tire toss, calisthenics, sprints etc. John definitely has a great eye on setting up the most appropriate workout session. As we hit my strengths, John does a great job hitting, what I would consider my weaknesses… Building more strength.

I have been training with John for over 6 month. And I will say he is definitely one of the best trainers I had. He knows how to adapt his program towards each person and design a routine that brings the most benefit out of each workout. I have noticed a huge change in energy and strength thanks to John’s biweekly training. Not only does John pick the most appropriate workout for me, he also give me pinpoint suggestions to make sure each rep is done perfectly. He handles equipment very carefully and safety is always assured. He’s really nice and funny, each session is a nice experience.
