Noah’s Ark Children’s Learning Center

This review is based on my 4 hour visit to this center with my then 4 months old daughter back in Feb 2012. Infant room was cold … literally cold. The floor was freezing cold. All the babies had runny nose. I touched the hands of a child when he tried to climb up on me and they were icy cold. Teachers and babies were wearing jackets inside. I pointed to one teacher that its cold in here. She said yes its cold that’s why I am wearing my jacket. I tried to remind her again that maybe heat needed to be turned on. She said Ms Alia turns on heat after 3:30pm. I was astonished, so heat is turned on just when parents start to come in to pick up their babies. Infant room is probably a converted garage with concrete underneath that thin rug. Probably that is why its that cold but I can’t say for sure. I find it just cruel for the babies who can not speak up for themselves. Teachers were nice but kind of scared of Ms Alia to bring up heat problem. I just can’t forget that experience because I find it really really cruel for little babies.

This review is long overdue, as I’ve been taking my children to Noah’s Ark since they were babies — my son is now 3 and my daughter is 2. I can’t say enough wonderful things about Noah’s Ark. I found Noah’s through a referral from a friend from work. At the time, my husband and I visited many different in-​home and day care centers as most first time parents do, but none of them felt like the right place for our son. Until we visited Noah’s ark. Instantly, I fell in love with the center manager, Ms Isabela and the owner, Ms Alia — both are warm and friendly and understand how difficult it is for parents to leave their children — especially for the first time. Ms. Carmen who oversees the infant room has been there for years and is amazing — both my children instantly bonded with her and to this day go see her every morning to say hello before heading to their respective play rooms. My grandson and granddaughter have been going to Noah’s Ark since they were babies. This loving caring day care is one of the best around. My little guys are treated like family there. All of their teachers are friendly, happy and the kids love them. The facility is clean, well organized, cheerful and fun! I would highly recommend Noah’s Ark for anyone seeking a healthy happy environment for their children.

Well, after our boy’s teacher left, all heck broke loose. His teacher was amazing, kept the class in line and helped each child according to skill level. But she left and another teacher took over, one who had no clue how to guide. The kids were hitting each other, yelling, taking toys, and she did nothing. Worse, she would bribe the kids with candy and toys! I brought it up with the owner, a wonderful woman who I think was running short staffed after the abrupt departure of the original teacher, but every time I came to pick him up, or drop him off, it was sheer chaos. We changed schools quickly after that. This is over a year ago, so it could be that staff has changed. I will always be grateful that they kept my boy with his own age group but my review should not stand as the glowing 5 stars it was.

Looking for day care to take my son, so I visited this place. I would not take my son there. My husband having ran a day care said go with your first instinct. If it smells bad when you first walk in, it will not be a place we want our son.
Though bright and colorful, the teachers that worked there didn’t seem to fit the bright and colorfulness. NO SMILE on their faces except for one teacher outside who asked for my sons name and age. and seemed to be more interactive with the children. The others looked like they hated their job and just stared at me.
«We try not to have part timers; we really want full time because it messes up the schedule» WHAT THE HELL IS THAT!
Good way to turn business down, BUT that’s ok Noah’s Ark, you have ALOT of improvement needed. I wouldn’t take my son there.
