My 6^th star would absolutely go to Dr. Marcus and his amazing office staff. Dr. Marcus’ soft spoken demeanor aids in making patients feel relaxed and comfortable while enduring the less than pleasant aspects of needing orthodontic work. He is very cordial and professional, but more importantly you know he cares deeply not only about his work, but about his patients.
His team is phenomenal. I have been recruiting in the tech space for over 15 years. I have built and managed teams, and you create great teams by first hiring great people. Whoever is in charge of hiring Dr. Marcus’ staff has done an impressive job of bringing in a well balanced mix of talent. From those who are early in career, to seasoned pros… the staff has great energy and function incredibly well as a team. They treat their patients well (I’ve seen them working with other patients at the front desk) and people leave with smiles (see what I did there?). We’ve created a great dynamic between us and when I go in, it’s like visiting friends (that’s also because I’m cool like that, but I digress).
Dr. Marcus will give you all of your options and everything from treatment to financial responsibility will be clearly explained to you. I’ve brought my daughter in to get ahead of her possible orthodontia needs and her nervousness went away as soon as Dr. Marcus spoke to her (in his awesome soothing cadence). I’ve referred friends over and will continue to refer.
I’m a Raiders fan through and through, but Dr. Marcus and crew are definitely my favorite team!

No regrets going to Dr. Kai. He was recommended by my dentist cousin for my daughter and niece. His clinic is state of the art and Dr. Kai is very abreast with the latest orthodontic technology. The clinic staff and assistants are all corteous and professional. Because of our great experience with him taking care of my daughter’s teeth in braces for more than two years, we also highly recommend him. I believe Dr. Kai comes from a family of orthodentists/​dentists.

I am a patient still in treatment and I highly recommend Dr. Marcus. Unlike other orthodontist who sit you down to a video and then schedule your next appointment, he actually takes the time to talk to you and explains to you the process. He is also a wonderful listener and he addresses your concerns. Staff is friendly and nice. The only complaint is the location of the sinks when you have to brush your teeth but the knowledge of the doctor makes up for that.

I was referred to Dr. Marcus and I’m so glad that I was. Unlike other ortho offices (I was shopping around), the staff took some initial photos so that Dr. Marcus could explain the treatment that was necessary and answer all my questions. The front staff was able to schedule me in very soon for the next appointments and no complaints so far.

So I am visiting from out of town and my daughter forgot the rubber bands for her braces which could mess up her ortho treatment so desperately I called Dr. Kai’s office for help they were extremely helpful and let me come in and pick up a pack of rubber bands I am beyond grateful what an amazing staff and Doctor !

Excellent front office staff. I am changing orthodontist and very pleased with my decision, my daughter was treated with respect and they tailored to her needs making her feel welcomed. Absolutly a five star treatment. Highly recommend it to all parents.

Dr. Kai and staff are some of the most genuine and accommodating people you’ll meet. You’ll walk in to the office and find beverages for you while you wait, movies playing on the tv for entertainment, and be promptly greeted by the staff there.
I’ve had braces before in high school, but did not have my wisdom teeth taken out and I did not do a good job of wearing my retainer back then. This led to my teeth shifting in my adulthood and it made me self-​conscious to the point where I needed to do something about it.
Dr. Kai took the time to explain my options (something most Orthodontists don’t talk about), and explained my habits and why my teeth shifted the way they did. After providing his recommendation, he ultimately left it up to me to decide the best course of action that fit my needs. Diane was great at explaining costs, and options for the procedure I chose (invisalign).
Pretty much anything and everything you want to know about fixing your teeth is available to you depending on how much you want to know. The entire staff is very detailed and professional about what they do; from a website to view your information, laptops to show your progress/​before and after pictures, stations for brushing/​cleaning your teeth, etc.

My daughter has been seeing the whole Kai clan and we both love them all. I brought her in to see Dr Marcus for some x-​rays. Dr. Marcus was friendly, warm, and gentle — all important qualities to have when dealing with an eight year old. He answered all the questions she (we) had and was extremely patient with her. The entire experience proved to be fun for her. She looks forward to going to the orthodontist.
His office is exceptionally clean, the staff is wonderful to work with and all-​in-​all it’s a good experience whenever we walk through the door.

I have to say after my initial visit to Kai Orthodontics, I was really impressed by the service and technology of their office. The staff is extremely personable, friendly and always smiling and their equipment is very cutting edge. The check in monitor was really cool and the X-​ray machines were something out of a futuristic sci-​fi movie.
They made me feel very comfortable for my first ever visit to an ortho. I really liked that they took pictures of my teeth so that I could compare. I was on a fast track to get ready for my wedding and although they didn’t have as much time as they typically would have liked, all I can say now that my braces are off is WOW!!! I am SO HAPPY!!!
They seem to have a focus on high quality care as evident with their equipment, brand new office and staff. Plus, Dr. Marcus is super nice and very friendly. If you’re in the Campbell/​Willow Glen/​San Jose area they should be a top stop to check out. I highly recommend them.

Society has created a stigma where a normal human being should have a phobia of dentists. Unfortunately, my orthodontist experience as an adolescent fit this haunting reputation. After wearing braces and headgear for 8 years, you would think that my teeth would have the golden smile similar to those of actors. But here I am 12 years later at the age of 30 in need of straighten teeth … once again
I inquired for dental need but had my reservations due to my past history. Based off several recommendations, I contacted Dr. Kai’s office about their treatment plans. My first conversation was with Diane, who provided beneficial information that encouraged me to meet with Dr. Kai in person. Upon arrival of their office, I was instantly impressed with their interior décor and up-​to-​date technology. So far so good. After a diagnosis of my teeth, Dr. Kai provided me with different options with their corresponding benefits. Unlike my previous orthodontist, he allowed me to make a choice after stating his recommendations. Not only did he showcase his knowledge from his extensive background and utilization of current orthodontic-​treatment strategies, but he evidently showed genuine care for his patient’s needs.
Words cannot fully describe my satisfaction of Kai Orthodontics. I’ve had my fair share of horrible untold stores with both dentists and orthodontists (I’ve never heard of anyone else having braces for 8 years). Furthermore, I’m not a true « Unilocaler», but my effort to write a review presents my advocacy for Dr. Kai’s profession and craft. Just to note, I’m not the best patient either (I’ve lost sets of Invislign), but the staff happily accommodated to me with a smile.

What more can you ask?

I haven’t been here for very long, but it feels like I have. Everyone knows me and always helps me to feel very welcome. Dr. Kai is very knowledgeable and friendly. He seems to genuinely care that his patients are happy with the overall process as well as the end result. Diane has been beyond helpful anytime I have questions and is always so sweet. The rest of the staff is great as well. Kai Orthodontics was very flexible with payment options so I didn’t feel overwhelmed by the cost, which I should note is a big investment so it took me a while to decide whether I would just deal with the pain of my bite being off or buckle down and fix it. I am very busy and am unable to communicate via telephone so when I have questions I turn to email; they are extremely timely and pleasant to deal with. They give me enough trays so I don’t have to keep going back every month, which is helpful in the aspect of I do not have to take time off work. Although, they are very accommodating with that as well by scheduling me for their earliest apppointment. I enjoy going into the office because of the warm smiles and kind greetings. I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of orthodontics and honestly have nothing but positive remarks towards them.

It’s been years without my retainers, and naturally my teeth shifted back to it’s old ways, my underbite started digressing, and things were starting to feel crooked. I decided it was time for braces again. But the problem was the last time I went to an orthodontist it was more than 15 years ago. and my parents have a hard time remembering anyone’s name that isn’t vietnamese.
So as difficult as it is to find someone honest and trustworthy these days, I was lucky enough to be referred to a different orthodontist, Dr Kai. A few years ago, my three cousins went to Kai Orthodontics, my little brother went to Kai Orthodontics, and my dentist had nothing but positive things to say about Dr Marcus Kai. No doubt that word of mouth had led me to Dr Kai.
Dr. Kai is thorough, gentle, and patient. That’s huge for me! He’s been walking me through every step of the way and is patient will all the questions I have (and trust me, I ask a TON of questions). I never felt rushed. I loved seeing the digital pictures on the screen when he did my consultation, and I appreciate that he took the time to explain everything he was planning to do and how he was going to do it. I was also surprised when Dr Kai himself called me to follow up after my first week to see how I was adjusting to the invisalign (and listened to me complain that I was sore — haha). He’s meticulous in his work and the office is beautiful. The office sends me emails to remind me of my appointments — they do everything they can to make it work for me. His staff is GENUINELY nice and friendly. The list goes on and on about how awesome my experience has been and I’m a huge fan of his practice. If I could do more than 5 stars, I would. A big thanks for all the awesome work he’s done so far. I would highly recommend Dr Kai to all my friends and family.

After losing my retainers in a recent move, I was lost as to who to go to since my previous orthodontist was no longer practicing. I was glad I decided to make my new pair with Dr. Kai — his staff is friendly and warm and the quick turn around for my retainers speak to his skill and genuine care of his patients’ needs. His attention to detail can also be seen in the brand new office and the state of the art equipment that is used. Highly recommended!

Dr. Marus Kai is so talented with complex ortho issues. He is very thorough & gentle. He does have the most advance equipment. His staff is awesome.
