The absolute best voice coach in the bay! Izetta truly cares for her students and is constantly challenging you to become a better performer. She has taught me so many techniques and she really knows what she’s talking about. She understands how your body works and helps you learn how to connect that to your vocals. Sweetest woman on earth with so much love and passion.

She is an expert. After going through some bad techniques with a previous inductors, my bff who’s a gr8 singer suggested izetta. She is not a cheap vocal Coach but u get what u pay for. After a month my pitch was fixed, 2months voice became stronger, 3months I was hitting those high notes I never thought I could and finished 3 songs I wanted to sing. She listened to what i wanted and what I didn’t want. I ddnt wanna learn to read Sheet music again I just wanted to fix my mariachi style tone and sing higher/​louder/​stronger. She says I’m a fast learner but I believe when u put ur heart into something then u pick up fast. She’s the best I’ve worked with!

I have been working with Izetta since 2009 and have never been disappointed. I came in wanting to become a more versatile singer and to work on my vocal technique/​increase my range. Every week I would ask Izetta what I needed to improve upon or we would work on something specific every week and add songs to my book that would help. Izetta has helped me improve as a singer, and a performer in so many ways. I feel much more confident in my singing abilities and am able to identify my weaknesses and improve upon them. Overall, I say I have grown much more with her than possibly any other vocal instructor I have worked with.
Not only is Izetta an amazing vocal instructor, but she is an EXTREMELY talented performer and nurturing instructor. The first thing that attracted me to Izetta was that she had performed on Broadway and many of the professional theaters in Bay Area. After being her student for a while I will say this, Izetta takes care of you. More than making sure you are using the correct technique, constantly building your repetoire, focusing on improving range what I like the most about learning with Izetta is that she wants you to succeed in every goal whether it be an audition that you are preparing for or trying to get into a conservatory. There were times I would show up few hours before the audition to practice my audition with her, besides building up my confidence about my preparation she would give useful advice about my presentation, she has gone as far as lending me accessories to make me fit my character more before an audition. All this has proven to me that Izetta wants me to do well and I’m very lucky to have her as my teacher. With her input I got cast in the musical workshop of Ozma of Oz at Cutting Ball, got a callback from Broadway by the Bay’s Gypsy and a callback for Bus Barn’s Shout! The Mod Musical.
