I don’t know whether Interstate Tire is a good shop. I took my vehicle there on a Saturday hoping to talk to someone. Their web site says they are open until 2pm on Saturday. So does the sign on their front door, which was locked at noon on Saturday.
I called the number listed on their website and there was no answer. Not even a way to leave a message. I emailed the address on their website. No answer.
There was a car parked outside, the air conditioner was on, and the lights were on in the shop. I tried for over two hours to get ahold of someone at Interstate Tire. Several other customers came by while I was there, also expecting them to be open.
What kind of business is this? I ended up going somewhere else.

My «check engine» light came on just as I was driving on I-​17 Camp Verde. We found Interstate Tire and Auto online, and saw they were open on Saturday morning. The mechanic was able to use the diagnostic computer on my car, checked the fluids, and asked me a few questions. He determined the engine light was not urgent, so he reset it. He asked me to get it checked out ASAP if it came on again. I was back on the road in 15 minutes with much more peace of mind.
I appreciated that he was honest and did not take advantage of me! I would recommend Interstate Tire and Auto to any travelers who found themselves stranded on I-​17.

Wonderful experience working with this repair shop from the first phone call.
My 2004 MB stopped running on I-​17 near Camp Verde.
I googled auto service in area and after a talk with Jocelyn the office manager Jocelyn.
AAA towed me to Interstate Tire & Auto at 9 am and the shop was able to get the part by 3 pm
The car was back on the road by 6 pm. with new AC compressor and 2 new tires.
Thanks you Interstate for the fast an friendly service at a very reasonable price.
And Interstate Tire & Auto is only a short walk to Starbucks.

My car broke down on the way from Phoenix to Flagstaff. I was hesitant to use a shop I was not familiar with, but a tow was going to cost $ 250. I had my car towed to them, and I was more then 100% satisfied. Jocelyn was amazing to work with, and the mechanic was friendly, HONEST, and had it fixed before expected. The price they quoted me was exactly what I paid, and then they honored a coupon that was presented at the last minute. I highly recommend them and will be happy to drive the extra 60 miles to take my vehicles here in the future.

I’ve used these gents on two occasion and both were a great experience. The first was a heavy repair on my full sized truck and the other was fast tire repair. I called with no appointment and they fit me in with zero issue. Fair prices and honest people. Hard to find in auto/​truck repair. I have programmed their number and will rely on them for my future needs.
